  1. So instead of sending in a boat to retrieve them, as we would have in normal times, we let them float for almost an hour before murdering them?

  2. charge/convict everyone in the chain of command from hegsgeth down to the pilot that launched the missle.

If a lawyer ok’d this that doesn’t make it legal. They fired all the lawyers who would be saying no..

Literal Nazi behavior. And there is nothing hyperbolic about stating this as a fact.

  6. Our commander was hoping they would give themselves up, but after 45 minutes of not receiving their surrender, he followed the original orders of the secretary of war, ‘kill them all.’

  7. And that thing about they were truing to right the capsized boat?

Two guy in the water are not going to right a capsized boat.

  8. I’m sorry what the a solute fuck is going on here. First there was no second strike. Then there was but according to Hegseth it was a couple hours later. Than Tom Cotton watched the video and said the second strike occurred minutes later. Then another senator said it occurred 45 minutes later. I mean seriously what is going on. Supposedly all three of these people have seen the videos yet they all apparently remember differently. I mean I get eye witness accounts are tenuous at best but this is bordering ridiculous.

Every fucking one of them needs to be prosecuted from the pilot who fired to the chain of command giving the orders.

  10. This shit is so brazen you have to draw a line. It’s ridiculous. If this flies what’s next?

  11. Trump, The Secretary of Defense, and Admiral…all knew they were breaking international law with the attack. They couldn’t accept the chance of the optics of the survivors telling their story so they murdered them.

  12. Pete managed to commit the one war crime that’s literally used as THE EXAMPLE of a war crime

    DoD Law of War Manual:

18.3.2.1 Clearly Illegal Orders to Commit Law of War Violations. The requirement to refuse to comply with orders to commit law of war violations applies to orders to perform conduct that is clearly illegal or orders that the subordinate knows, in fact, are illegal. For example, orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.

(This isn’t mine but I forgot to save what redditor did. Credit should be theirs)

  13. Axis soldiers were convicted of war crimes for doing this to Allied soldiers during World War 2.
