  1. U.S. forces have seized a sanctioned oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg News.

    U.S. crude oil was up 10 cents, or 0.17%, at $58.35 per barrel. Brent rose 15 cents, or 0.24%, to $62.09 a barrel.

    President Donald Trump has escalated pressure on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in recent weeks. The White House has undertaken a large military buildup in the Caribbean and launched strikes against boats that it claims were trafficking drugs to the U.S.

    The Orange Buffoons about to find out what real power looks like messing with OPEC. I realize he thinks that he is all powerful, but disruption of an OPEC tanker isn’t going to sit well with the other members.
