This is the House Homeland Security Committee and it’s purpose is to serve as oversight for the Department of Homeland Security. This is essentially like showing up to your court hearing and then telling the judge “Yeah I don’t have time for this”.
Unfortunately it seems the committee does not have much power without the executive branch or congress. So basically Kristi Noem, could just essentially flip these guys the bird and walk out if she wanted to if the president nor congress were willing to do anything about it. And when politics is ruled by essentially internet trolls she’s technically right.
If (R) House Reps hold the majority of seats after the mid-terms this country is truly lost, and there won’t be anything to bring it back before it completely crumbles.

She is stating that the Biden administration did all the vetting for the national guard killer and it is his fault, even though they had the final approval. Using the same logic wouldn’t trump be at fault for the chaotic withdrawal of our military from Afghanistan. trump is the one that agreed with the Taliban on the withdrawal terms, not Biden.
