  1. Gonna be a lot of “Well I never supported him” coming in the future.

Don’t care. If you voted for him, you own everything MAGA does. Full stop.

  2. The number of Republicans I identify as Maga has remained steady. It’s all of them. The orange stain is permanent

  3. White supremacists will simply rebrand, but it’s still the same oppressive, evil, white bread bullshit.

  4. Personally, I think those hats should be glued to their heads for life, but good news I guess.

  5. OPENLY identifying. They’ll still be maga’s, they just won’t have the branding all over on everything they own.

  6. That’s not a good thing. I want them to remain visible, they shouldn’t be allowed to blend into polite society when they are supporting those who want to rip it apart.

  7. Nope. You want men who’ve transitioned into women to still identify as a men, and I want maga who have transitioned back to the couch to forever identify as a maga. I will personally ensure you never forget.

  8. Yeah, they did this after they couldn’t hide from the reality of George W. Bush’s presidency, too. As the wars on “terror” dragged on and the economy imploded, all of a sudden the narrative became that Republicans never supported him, and definitely weren’t rabid about starting those wars.

  9. Remember they don’t like identification. Once a MAGA, always a MAGA. With all the damage they caused they don’t get to just walk away.

  10. Newsweek sucks. The headline is really deceptive:
“The poll found that 50 percent of Republicans associated with MAGA while 50 percent felt more linked to the Republican Party. In April, 57 percent of Republicans associated with MAGA and 43 percent felt more kinship with the Republican Party.”

im sorry but I for one want to celebrate anyone who has the guts to admit they were wrong about him, because that’s the only way forward.. Resentment does nothing but fester.
Let them come forward and let them speak freely.. don’t force them into the shadows, or the cycle will keep repeating itself.

Peel off all your bumper stickers and throw away your hats…we’ll still remember your cruelty. We’ll just add coward to the list.

I bet they still vote for him.

It’ll just be like the actual Nazis. Nobody will ever admit they supported him

  14. Too fucking late. The Republican Party is over. It’s now the MAGA party. Can’t put the toothpaste back into the tube.

They’re 100% still MAGA, they just won’t tell you they are because of the optics of it.
