  1. It really is. My aunt who hates Puerto Ricans and doesn’t understand they’re Americans. My neighbor who always tells me how great it is we’re in the white area of the neighborhood. My mom and grandmother telling me I better not marry a Jewish girl. My cousin who called my ex a monkey. This girl I went on a date with who said “thank God the blacks stay over here.”

All of these people feel so comfortable saying this shit, but if you dare call them racist they lose their mind. They all wanna say the most vile shit and it’s just supposed to be cool. Make it make sense. And these people wonder why I cut them off.

  2. MAGA is a group of people who vote out of hate than their own best interest. They do not care about the collective well-being of society, including themselves, but rather tunnel-visioned on one or two extreme “value(s)” they are passionate about, such abortion, racism or transphobia. So instead of trying to be a normal person who ignores those who are different because “to each their own” and “no harm, no foul”, they feel like they have to impose their world view and are a victim if the rest of society does not align and subscribe as such. So because of this, they are willing to compromise and see losing their rights and benefits as a trade off for that to get rid of that one little issue that they do not like.

  3. When I think “MAGA” I think if people over 70.

Fuentes is more about young folks. Most MAGA people don’t even know who Nick Fuentes is.

Nick is not just a racist, he’s a Nazi!
It reflects the moral rot of the GOP when the two major factions in party, one that hates Blacks & Hispanics vs those who hate any non-white Christian, including Jews (Nick & Groyper movement) are fighting for control and leadership!

  5. I find its a belief that stems from either closeted racism/bigotry, woeful ignorance or grift purposes

    >MAGA’s racism problem isn’t Nick Fuentes — it’s MAGA

Both of are true. But the latter is a bigger problem than the former.

  7. Writer_In_Residence on

It’s both. Fuentes is part of the angry young men movement that has grown very popular, and the older people are starting to realize it, hence why the Heritage Foundation learned to tread lightly with him.

But Fuentes pushes white supremacy as well so I don’t get why we need to have one be worse than the other.

  8. Racism is a pillar of maga. It’s hard to be a movement based on hate and grievance without racism. It’s the underlying principle that drives the hatred and anger. Nick Fuentes for his part opens up hate and anger to another group of people, but more importantly, he does so with an appealing veneer. It’s not the more polished dog whistle version maga is used to. His is the unabashed straight forward version that appeals to younger and lower class folks.

But this also misses the central point, it’s not a problem! It’s not a bug. It’s not an undesirable element of their movement. It’s the whole point. It’s fuel source beyond a basic catalytic reaction. They don’t see it as a problem and they pay no social price for being racist pieces of shit.

  9. MAGA is a big ball of toxic misfits held together with the glue of “Hurt the people I don’t like.”

  10. Free speech to republicans is getting to say the N word with no consequences. That’s all it is. All it has ever been.

Fuentes is a tumor born of MAGA, and him appearing to be accepted publicly might be a sign of worse to come.

  11. Finally! Media is coming around, I’m not going crazy. Remember when Democrats were running around talking about “Ultra MAGA”, and waving at the screen and yelling its the entire party.

  12. If you talk to any MAGA supporter long enough about the issue that started it all, immigration, the racial hatred will emerge no matter how they try to contain it. One elderly friend told me: “we have to defend our culture,” which is code for “white people must remain in power.”

“Holds racist tendencies” was the MOST common predictor of someone voting for trump in 2016. More than even being a Republican

  14. Are you saying a movement whose only unifying ideal is racism has a problem with racists in its ranks?

  15. Competitive-Ad-9404 on

Racism has been around forever.  It was hidden prior to the Internet.  You would hear it in rural areas, small towns, older relatives, usually drunks who thought they could trust you.  Once the Internet came along China and Russia,  two not very diverse countries, thought that this would be a way to bring us down.  They have succeeded by using bots, amplifying racism on social media, to the point where racists think everyone agrees with them and that they are in the right.
