  1. From the article:

Days before Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in 2019, the sex offender claimed he would never take his own life because, he said, suicide is forbidden in his Jewish faith.

In the Department of Justice’s latest release of files related to its Epstein investigation, prison notes from his time at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City — where he was held while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges — offer a closer look at his mental state.

The notes mentioned a possible suicide attempt on July 23, 2019. According to the notes, Epstein told an interviewers that “he could not remember what happened” on the day in question “because of his ” ‘sleep apnea.'”

During a psychological observation from July 26, 2019, it was written that Epstein “does not like pain and never attempt (sic) to harm himself.”

A suicide risk assessment form dated Aug. 1, 2019, stated, “He said he is Jewish and he said in his religion suicide is against the religion,” per the report. “Overall, his current protective factors override his risk factors for suicidality. He is currently psychologically stable. He denied feeling hopeless. He is reporting positive future plans and reasons to live for.”

The report listed Epstein’s “overall acute suicide risk” as “low.”

  2. Epstein was almost certainly smart enough to manipulate the fuck out of a prison psychologist. In light of that, this article is pretty meaningless.

I’m of the opinion that the more accurate phrasing would be “Days before he was suicided….”

  4. We must trust our compulsively lying. c$$h$ild r$a$ping, insurrectionist, draft dodging, democracy destroying felon “president” when he tells us strongly that Epstein killed himself.

  5. I’m sure Epstein just assumed he was going to get another “sweetheart deal” (his controversial non-prosecution agreement (NPA) from 2008).

He probably thought that right up until those guys in black suits came to visit him at midnight.

“Days before he died…” is Reddit code for “here comes another round of What did they know and when did they know it?” I’s almost like every time more files drop, someone’s inbox lights up with new excuses and dodge moves.

  7. It’s almost as if he said something that would take him off suicide watch, so he could commit suicide.

  8. The context of this is that he had a prior attempt and presumably didn’t want the safeguards around for the next one, so he said he would never do something like that.

  9. If I was wanting to kill myself rather than face a lifetime prison sentence after a trial that would leave me embarrassed and humiliated, I’m not going to tell the prison shrink that I’m planning it. I’d tell the prison shrink that I would never want to harm myself, so that I’m not on constant observation that is preventing me from harming myself.

I’m not saying he killed himself or was killed but either way this is pretty much a nothing report. Unless we’re going to play the “I’ll believe whatever he says as being 100% honest and forthright as long as it backs up my belief he was murdered but dismiss anything he says as being 100% a lie if it runs counter to my belief in him being a pedophile.” Like come on here, the guy was a lying wretched piece of utter filth but was totally honest with the prison shrink? Really?

  10. Posting anything from People magazine after all the sensational bullshit they’ve pushed in the past half-year is a mistake. People Magazine degrades any forum it touches. This one too.
