  1. In the wake of the indictment, Lauren Chen lost her work visa and was forced to leave the country. She also vanished from social media. It seemed unlikely she would return to the United States anytime soon.

But this holiday season, Chen and her husband were back in Nashville, where she lived while running Tenet. She broke the news herself, by announcing on Instagram and X on Christmas Day that she could now return to the United States, and specifically thanking the State Department’s Joe Rittenhouse, a senior adviser on consular affairs and former Trump presidential campaign worker, for his help.

  2. Yup, Money. That’s all that takes for Trump to sell out the USA. Just give him a check, and tell him how big his penis is, and boom, visa!

  3. I don’t think Donald Trump is an asset or a Russian spy. A spy would be less obvious about it.

He is exactly what he appears a guy who is willing to make a deal with anyone provided they pay his customary bribe.

So an op-ed against israel and they will kick you out of the country. But if you run a russian influence scheme you get a visa? HOW ARE YOU ALL NOT CONVINCED TRUMP IS A TRAITOR.

  5. IMO, politics is a messy game on both sides. Sorta feel like we’re just puppets in the hands of these big-shot policymakers TBH. Don’t wanna sound whiny, but it’s hella frustrating.😤🙄 Seems like being a ‘propaganda capitalist’ has its own visa category now, huh?

  6. Crazy that the people who would have supported McCarthyism pre-2016 have now gone all the way to the opposite end of the Russki spectrum.

There are some days where I wish I was just an immoral asshole because grifting off rightwing idiocy seems too easy.
