All I hear is the Department of Justice telling people that it’s OK to not follow the law.

DOJ doing an amazing job of showing why we have a legal system and not a justice system.

  3. The Epstein Files Transparency Act provided you thirty days to release the full files with only victim names redacted. Not only did you fail to release the full files, but you also redacted and removed important documents that weren’t related to victims. You’re in contempt of Congress.

I say this with all the honesty and integrity in my heart-kiss my ass DOJ.

deadlines exist for a reason. when the public asks for transparency and gets excuses instead, the message is clear: some truths aren’t a priority.

  5. I know this may sound simplistic, but why exactly do they have to read them first before turning them over? Unless they are proofreading for a reason, I don’t get. Epstein wasn’t in the military or any of the service organizations, so there shouldn’t be anything secret or top secret in any of that so shouldn’t they literally just bring them over in boxes and drop them off?

Have they been through all the excuses yet? Have we finally gotten to “My dog ate it”?

  7. >Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a recent interview on “Meet the Press” there was “well-settled law” that supported the DOJ missing the transparency bill’s deadline because of a need to meet other legal requirements in the bill, like redacting victim-identifying information.

GOP only utter the phrase “well-settled law” when acting in bad faith.

If they respected well-settled law, this administration wouldn’t be committing acts of war with impunity.

Trump, GOP, DOJ and FBI are working very hard to cover-up Trump being a pedophile. Lock these criminals up!

  9. That’s not how that works.

The Law deals with shades of grey but is often very black and white, the entire function of Law is calling balls and strikes. There was a 30 day deadline, this administration passed it, therefore it is in violation of The Law.
Everything else is excuses that should be told to a judge.

Its funny how the DOJ went from saying the documents were on their desk, to there are no documents, and now suddenly there are a million documents. Nothing but a willful coverup can explain this. The DOJ needs to be investigated.

Trump said he would release the files if he won. Bondi said they were on her desk, then the files didn’t exist, they were a hoax. Obama wrote the files, but they’re a hoax. Bill Clinton and Joe Biden wrote the files. Joe Biden and Bill Clinton are the files, but still, the files are a hoax. Charlie Kirk who wanted the files released got shot and suddenly the files weren’t in the news at all for 3 weeks. Then the government shutdown right after that, so the files couldn’t be released. The files are now a hoax again, but anyway, the Democrats wrote the files which are a hoax to make Trump look bad. Only the files that mention Democrats should be released. The files are real and we need to release them by law, but first we need to redact the survivors’ names, but not really, just Trump’s and his co-conspirators, but every other person mentioned is guilty. The remaining non-hoax files will be released shortly.

“Hey man, it was a Monday, ya know, then Tuesday was this whole thing, then we were headed into the Holidays so….we had to break the law, you get it right?”

  13. We’re in a constitutional crisis with a tyrannical government, not following the law or will of the people.

  14. Trump’s DOJ is protecting Pedophiles.
    MAGA voted to protect Pedophiles.
    Never let them forget that.

  15. There are zero consequences for the DOJ. They would have to be impeached a there’s not enough votes for that to happen. Even if they were tone impeached, they would be pardoned. All this would take so long, they’d just resign before any consequences would come to light

  16. Congress must pass a bill to unilaterally take over the Department of Justice until all the files are released. Then use whatever Trump is hiding during improvement.

  17. “You guys: redacting was a LOT of work. Trump is in the files SO much. You just don’t understand. . . “

  18. Nixon never went to jail, but his AG did. Bondi should consider her own position here. She won’t, but she should.
