It was +16.44D in 2022, and Harris apparently won it by 17 points in 2024.
We’re waiting on ~~Polk~~ Dallas County to report still, but right now she’s winning by 43.03%. So we’re looking at like a 26 point overperformance compared to 2022/2024.
Update: Dallas County has reported. Broke Dem 67.46-32.54 (114-55). Makes the total vote a 71.4-28.5-.11(write-in) Dem hold. So a +42.9D win, making it roughly a 26.5 point swing left from 2022.

>Hardman bested Republican Lucas Loftin by an overwhelming margin to win the seat representing parts of Des Moines’ suburbs. It became vacant after the Oct. 6 death of state Sen. Claire Celsi, a Democrat.
>Hardman, CEO of nonprofit Lutheran Services of Iowa and a member of the West Des Moines City Council, becomes the first Black woman elected to the Senate.
>Democratic voters outnumber Republicans in the district by about 3,300 voters, or 37% to 30%.
Another election, another important win and a first.

Don’t let the pessimist distract you. Every vote is important. Just look at what Democrats have done for the people vs. what Republicans are doing to the people.

Oh wow. If true this would block the republicans super-majority again.
