In Trump’s latest attack on windmills, more accurately called wind turbines, he shared an image of a dead bird lying on the ground in front of several wind turbines.
As multiple outlets have pointed out, the photo is of a falcon, not an eagle as Trump erroneously claimed, which was taken in Israel in 2017.
Reacting to Trump’s post, Newsom’s press team wrote on X, “Dozy Don doesn’t know what an American bird looks like???”
Newsom has been mocking the president for months, stating that he is “putting a mirror up to Trump and the absurdity that’s going on in this country.”
I have two turbines on and near my property. They generate a bit of income, make a little noise and throw some shade but I’ve yet to find a dead bird. 9 years, 0 dead birds. My front window has killed a few/year.
He’s an idiot for many reasons, but calling them “windmills” just qualifies that description of him even more.
