    It was factually true that it was not a campaign document and that it was not written by Trump though. To have said that it was 100% the case that Trump was going to implement P2025 would have been speculative and not exactly objective reporting. The bigger problems are that voters don’t care that we now know Trump lied that he had no interest in P2025 and that voters still are struggling to care that nearly half of P2025 has been implemented.

    Behind the camera facing facade, conservatives are generally beta type people with a desire to be dominated and/or give their power to others.

    The others in this case are the heritage foundation.

    I think a lot of people who work in news media think this is just a phase that we’re going to get through and things are going to return to normal. So they’re just keeping their heads down and keeping quiet and not rocking the boat.

    I hope they’re right. I fear they’re wrong.

    Is there some explainer on how the “mainstream media” underreported Trump’s ties to Project 2025? Or is this just another article trying to undermine public trust in journalism?

    Cause I read a shitton of articles on Project 2025 in the lead up to the election, some even saying “Trump says he’s not a part of Project 2025, but here are all the ways that sounds bullshit” Like … The reporting was happening. Who is the “mainstream media” here?

    Read the article: so fact checks from CNN and WaPo that said Project 2025 wasn’t an official campaign document, which was true, was the wrong thing to do? IDK, man. News outlets don’t get to say what feels true or not. They also did lots of analysis reporting on what 2025 was, what was in it, what factual ties there were between the campaign…

    Don’t piss on a fact checker for doing their job.

    People told me all through 24 that i was overreacting.

    Our media sanewashed his dementia-driven amphetamine rants and held Biden/Harris to standards they’d never use on Trump. They wanted the ratings of Trump back.

    And i hope that when they try to flee, our corporate media figureheads find their private runways have been chopped up.
