This is actually extremely frustrating for me in particular because I live in otero county and I’m impacted by our dog shit water quality. Every couple of weeks I get a letter from the city informing me that my water is rich in minerals and other contamination and advising me to invest in a water softener and purifier. We’ve been waiting patiently for years for this fucking pipeline to go through. On top of that, because we are seriously limited on water here we have to conserve water and are only allocated a certain amount of water (in my case it’s 3,000 gallons), and it is annoying as hell.

Could also be Colorado’s poor defense of their border with Mexico ….
