Andrew Weissmann joins Sam Stein to explain why the Epstein files rollout has become a legal and political disaster—from blown deadlines and redactions to the DOJ’s credibility crisis. They also discuss Supreme Court’s spotty pushback against the administration, Trump’s use of military power, and growing risks to democratic norms.

  2. Definitely a coverup. Trump is hiding behind a corrupt DOJ. An innocent man would release it all. Trump isn’t afraid to use the courts so there must be some real evil stuff in there

  3. It does look like a DOJ cover up. That’s because the DOJ is covering up an enormous amount of evidence.

  4. What?! Whatever gave you that idea, besides the facts and behaviors of everyone surrounding it?

  5. They’ve obviously been trying to cover up for months, until their hand was forced and have continued since. There is not a shred of a look anywhere in sight pointing to it **not** being a coverup. Everything we see and hear **screams** coverup. They even break the law to cover up.

So, why do we still see headlines like this “looks like a coverup”. No, it is a coverup.

  6. The media is saying what most of the people already know. They’re becoming more and more useless.

  7. One hundred people surveyed the only correct answer is on the board. Trump family: Democratic Hoax? No sorry finally the American people with a chance to steal. Cover-up? Survey says? Ding ding ding!

  8. Definitely a cover up attempt, but the admin is super incompetent so they can’t execute the cover up properly

They wouldn’t have had the fbi comb through the files for months only to delete anything that was released that mentioned trump once it was eventually released if it wasn’t. This administration is one of the most transparently corrupt administrations in American history and this is one of the most obvious cover ups to go along with it. Trumps quoted saying stuff that would be admital in court but he has yet to face any repercussions since he’s stacked the Supreme Court with people on his pay role.

  10. Then why not start with the fact that both Kash Patel and Pam Bondi lied to Congress under oath and go from there.

They aren’t immune, even if Trump can pardon them after.

Knowing Democrats, they will wait until after 2026 to do any, then take too long before 2028 for it to matter, not learning the lesson of Smith and Garland.

They’re still listening to old-guard strategists like James Carville and really need to stop.
