It’s funny so many utilities say solar is not good but then also fight against homeowners getting it. Would it not help lessen stress on the grid they say requires big money to fix?

My utility has always paid me “wholesale” rates for what I export from my residential system. Recently they just slashed that rate in half to $0.02 / kwh. I find it hard to believe that their commercial suppliers are that cheap, but I hope it’s true because that would mean everyone else’s utility bill should drastically drop this summer… But I’m not holding my breath.

Definitely makes sense where we live. They charge businesses more per KW for some reason.
Also most people work when the sun is shining so you use the power
