Once the piss bottle flew and the ice agent started crying, that’s when I knew the tide was turning

Who knew piss bottles would be the last line of defense for democracy?

  2. Well; fighting for everyone who is not an indoctrinated MAGA husk who supports pedophilia and murdering innocents – which is depressingly 20% of the US.

STILL; Stand up and fight for the 80%

  3. “I think the people risking their lives and livelihoods to protect their neighbors are the best of us, and I feel like we all owe them a debt of gratitude.”

Maybe this is where the “war” starts. Thought it was going to be when he messes with the election, but sooner is even better.

The residents are absolutely our vanguard, make no mistake about it. The moment this administration feels this was successful enough, they are going hard in LA, Philadelphia, NYC, and other blue cities.

Unverified rumor is that they’re going to Philly next. LOL good luck there champs

You will be remembered for your bravery, Minneapolis community . Ice on the other hand won’t be .

As they did during the Civil War and their bravery saved the union. Stay strong Minnesota!

  8. >Minneapolis truly can be likened to a city under siege from a foreign threat.

For those in other parts of the country, please believe this. This is not sensationalism.

Schools have closed and most of them are taking volunteers to watch over schools for the whole school day, and stand at bus stops. Many businesses are closing or reducing hours. Cars are being left in the middle of the street after their drivers were violently ripped from them and beaten, leaving the still running car to careen off and ram into things. Residents are having to go out in the mornings and clean up their streets themselves (glass and carnage from broken into cars, teargas canisters, flashbang grenades, etc) as ICE doesn’t give a shit.

These are not one time things either, this is every single day.

Here’s a kinda goofy personal one: I was on a video call with my therapist and had to receive a package and told him I had to answer the door quick and when I got back he goes “Oh thank God, you didn’t say who was at your door so I got kinda scared for a minute.”

That’s how we are all feeling here. Whatever you’ve seen in videos and media, it’s worse than that.

It’s -7 degrees here today, and it makes me happy knowing that the Brownshirts are freezing their asses off while they abduct US citizens with no judicial warrants.

  10. Minnesotans are striking on Friday, but don’t forget about the [national walkout tomorrow](https://www.freeameri.ca/) (January 20th) if you can participate.

No they’re not. They’re fighting law enforcement to protect illegal immigrants and hoping they’ll be the next martyr

  12. I’m not maga. Never voted for trump. I’d prefer if they stopped assaulting and obstructing and protested peacefully.

People are standing up for what is right, here in Minneapolis.

Note it’s not our elected officials who are standing up.

  14. I listened to an interview of a Minneapolis resident describing the ICE watch tactics their neighborhood was employing to great success. Basically if ICE agents showed up, people would follow them and make lots of noise.

And interestingly, the vast majority of the time those ICE agents would flee.

They know they’re guilty so they can’t stand being watched.

  15. predditor28273992 on

No they’re fighting against the overwhelming majority that wants ICE to deport illegals

  16. IntellectAndEnergy on

Here’s what is happening in Minnesota:

    1. Multiple violent ICE assaults on innocent citizens occur every day

    2. ICE is entering homes without consent or judicial warrant

    3. ICE is threatening the citizenry with guns (brandishing) and threats of violence consistently and seemingly without concern

These things are definitely happening, zero question about it. It is true.

  17. Sadly the majority of Americans are doing nothing other than stewing over the 100th “last straw”
