  1. President Donald Trump sparked alarm Tuesday after he rambled through a “picture book” of his perceived accomplishments from his first year back in office.

Trump, 79, meandered off topic frequently during a marathon news conference, repeatedly reminding reporters that María Corina Machado essentially gifted him her Nobel Peace Prize, that he has “done more” for NATO than anyone, and even reminisced on childhood memories.

“This Trump press conference is a complete disaster,” wrote the left-wing influencer Harry Sisson. “He’s rambling incoherently and flipping through a picture book of ‘accomplishments’ in front of the press. He’s clearly unwell. It’s getting really bad.”

  2. No, he didn’t spark anything.

He could drool all over himself and his supporters would still back anything he says and does.

  3. He was slurring his words so badly. Why won’t they remove him? I can’t take this embarrassment anymore.

  4. Presently, when a reporter asks him a question that he doesn’t like, he just insults them. How long before he reaches into his diaper and throws a handful of his shit at them?
Of course, his fans will just say “Gee, that was hilarious! Only our fantastic president would do something original like that.”

I watched as much as I could stomach.

    Rambling nonsense galore.

It is a national embarrassment to have this person as President.

  6. The weirdest part about that whole thing was each time he read out a new “Fact” you could tell he was seeing it for the first time. They keep talking about access and transparency but dude holds press conferences and then proceeds to fart out whatever the hell that was.

He can take a dump on stage and conservatives will still be like: “O, Donald? He is just a bit goofy.”

  8. when he was going through the pictures of ice detainees, the held up one that said “driving under the influence,” and very confidently said “look, killed somebody.” this was shortly after he slurred his way through some gibberish about switzerland. dudes brain is mush. 25 now.

  9. On a different note. Mark Carney’s speech today was astounding. Sobering and yet optimistic.

What’s this more he has done for NATO than anyone?  I keep hearing him and his flunkies say this with no real reason?

The only thing I find unlikely about this is the notion that he was holding a book, much less and open one.

  12. This is insane

If Joe Biden did this, it would be in every news channel

25th amendment cognitive decline all day

  13. The problem is that he’s so epically stupid to begin with it’s hard to tell the difference between his natural stupidity and his dementia.

It really is sad that he’s paraded about now. He’s a sick old man-and I mean this in the “he needs medical care” sense.

He’s also a sick man, and should be imprisoned, but that is a separate issue.

  15. Was a particularly bad showing for him today. Seemed tired and deflated most of the time. Droning incoherent rants and trouble staying on topic. Often seemed out of breath and was slurring and occasionally taking little gasping breaths. Also, virtually no actual new information about anything either. Just running back over his personal grievances and troubles. When asked about Greenland and NATO he gave rambling non answers that sounded like he doesn’t really care much about either topic.

For all intents and purposes he’s not actually in charge. He’s just a dumb old man who likely has dementia and the people around him are using to agitate and pursue agenda with.

  16. Nobody is going to do anything. Five years ago had him on national TV for 2 hours a day rambling like a lunatic while we were losing 1000 Americans a day to the pandemic. Nobody did a goddamn thing.

  17. There’s no alarm. People either know he’s entirely incompetent and a sociopath or they a in a cult. There’s no longer an in between

  18. Excuse me wtf he says Renee Good was a tragedy because her father was a “Trump fan”. Thats why it’s a tragedy? wtf level of narcissism is this. That a woman’s life lost is a tragedy because her parents liked you but might not anymore? What an embarrassment.

  19. we gotta remove this person from office for their own safety and the safety of the country. it’s like watching a baby with scissors trying to cook with a boiling pot on hot stove…in a burning house.

  20. Nothing Trump does sparks alarm for the GOP and even a large number of Dems.

The GOP will be jerking him off as we all get nuked.

  21. At this point I’m convinced he could take off his diaper and start finger painting the walls and nobody would blink an eye.

The comments suggest Trump’s cognitive decline is being exploited by GOP members who are using his diminished state to push their own policy agendas. Several people note that Republican officials won’t remove him because they’re either too spineless or actively benefiting from his addled condition. There’s concern that his public appearances now serve mainly as proof of life rather than genuine engagement. Some commenters draw parallels between his behavior and dementia symptoms they’ve observed in family members, particularly the tendency to retreat into childhood memories. The general sentiment is that Trump has become a puppet for other GOP figures who are implementing their own political fantasies while he remains easily controlled in this weakened state.
