  1. >*Many users claiming to be city residents said that, unlike in Minneapolis, they won’t be “Minnesota nice.”*

    May this be ICE’s Waterloo.

  2. They are going to have a much harder time in Philly than in Minneapolis, and Minneapolis is putting up a hell of a fight.

  3. Some of the toughest areas of Philly vs meal team 6 would be me rooting for Philly 100%

    Remember Hitchbot.

If you’re willing to do that to a cute little experiment, what will you do to a fascist regime?

  5. They won’t go into Philly. They will go to the burbs where they won’t get shot at. No way in hell they go down broad street side streets. I’ll be shocked if they do.

  6. Every time I hear about ICE potentially going to Philly I think about a story a friend in Philly told me when he was walking home after a concert at like 4am, and a guy whipped around the corner from an alley in a shopping cart being pulled by two pit bulls like a sled. Ice has no shot

  7. Huh. A couple of weeks ago:

    >Members of the [Black Panther Party](https://www.binnews.com/content/2021-04-08-22-year-old-james-henson-launches-young-black-panther-party/) for Self-Defense’s Philadelphia chapter appeared at an anti-ICE demonstration last week, saying they were there to protect the public following the fatal shooting of [**Renee Nicole Good**](https://www.binnews.com/content/2026-01-15-we-used-to-be-liked-ice-agents-fear-backlash-after-renee-good-killing/) by a federal agent in Minneapolis.

I’m sure this has nothing to do with that.

Having lived near Philly for several years, if ICE thinks Minnesota has been rough on them….buckle up bitches its about to get worse.

(And ICE deserves every bit of whats coming)

  9. I see that each metro has its own style of protest:

    * Portland, OR – Street theater: inflatable frogs, naked bike rides, etc., anything to highlight the absurdity of the situation and make the occupiers look ridiculous

    * Minneapolis/St. Paul – Midwestern neighborliness and solidarity: nonviolent resistance, emphasizing civic responsibility and projection of moral authority

    * Philadelphia – They will fuck you up

  10. As a long time resident of Philly, that’s ill advised.

And we don’t even need to talk about Santa, throwing batteries, or Gritty.

I will never forget when the Patriot Front got run out of town a few years back. Philly does not mess around.

His plan hasn’t panned out in MN. So let’s move on to a city that will absolutely not employ nonviolent resistance. I lived in Philly for years and would never fuck with a Philadelphian. They are tough people who don’t take any shit. The perfect setup to invoke the insurrection act and a much better distraction from the Epstein files. This runaway train is going to derail at some point and end in a fiery explosion. I want to look away, but I can’t and I won’t.

  13. DogsRcutiePies on

Philly folks don’t even like people from across the river in Jersey let alone lawless federal agents. It seems all too fitting that on the 250th anniversary of the country that Philadelphia becomes the center of resistance against tyranny

  14. willuleavemealonenow on

Everybody in the comments saying “It’s on purpose because if protesters are too violent he can use that as a JUSTIFICATION to use the insurrection act.” We’re post law. All he has to worry about is the fallout. Who’ll stop him from just declaring it the parliamentarian? That only works on Democrats.

  15. Randomwhitelady2 on

They are already all over the place in Baltimore, picking off immigrants one by one in various neighborhoods all over the city

  16. CupcakesAreTasty on

Philly sets itself on fire when it’s celebrating. Imagine what they’ll do when they’re pissed.

  17. AuthorChristianP on

He’s purposefully going there because he knows Philly will escalate, as they should. But still.

  18. The use of force Minnesota is not meeting with enough violent resistance.

They want to trigger anarchy and invoke the Insurrection Act. And they have to do it fast! The election is only months away. The Epstein files are waiting. Jack Smith is about to testify before Congress.

Trump is losing his mind, and eventually cholesterol will win.

Miller and his goons have to stay on target, ramp up the violence, and Philly is their next best opportunity.

  19. Ozymandias0023 on

They’re having trouble in a state that has its own brand of “nice”. East Coast cities are going to eat them up

  20. Can you pick a more historic & symbolic city than Philly to start another civil war (their idea, not mine)

  21. thatvillainjay on

Philadelphia dont play that shit. I remember when they beat the shit out of those white supremacist and even the cops were like “shouldn’t have come here then…”
