They are hanging out with the “we need the second amendment to protect against a tyrannical government” idiots.

The small government stuff was just a bullshit excuse because they’re just anti-left and it was a convenient argument for them.

What we’re seeing now is what the conservative movement fundamentally is.

  3. They said “me” not you. They don’t care about “rights” they care about “them.”

  4. The “no step on snek” crowd was always sus, so I’m not sure why people are trying to use their hypocrisy as a gotcha.

I just hope people completely disregard and sideline their opinion and voice in the future when making any decisions, because they’re bad faith cowards.

  5. “Rules for thee not for me” is part of the fascist ethos, likely they dont see the contradiction at all.

  6. This article is arguing that Trump’s proposed economic policy is too socialist. Fucking goofball libertarians

  7. The NRA worked with Reagan to ban open carry after Black Panthers started to show with legally owned firearms in California.

That’s all you need to know about the conservative freedom doctrine.

  8. In the language of the Republican Party, “big government” has nothing to do with the size of the actual government, only to do with whether the government supports policies they hate.

Requiring masks during COVID? “Big government”

Requiring proof of citizenship to walk the streets? “No problem!”

  9. Why are we pretending that was about any actual treading on anybody? The tea party was a joke in 2009-2010.

  10. It was always a don’t make me follow rules for things I don’t like crowd. It was never about treading on rights but only rights they liked.

These groups are the ones treading on other peoples rights.

  11. These people were only ever out for themselves.

That’s why it’s “don’t tread on *me*” instead of “don’t tread on *us*”.

They couldn’t give a fuck about you
