It is possible that DHS or the government could appeal this decision. But since it’ll be very unpopular, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they won’t do that

There are still a bunch of other children in these concentration camps who are suffering.

This is a copy of the email I sent to all my Representatives. Feel free to steal from it, create your own or write something better. Just for ideas:

    Dear ____,

I am writing due to concerns related to the conditions being reported at ICE Detention Centers. There have been persistent reports of unsanitary conditions, lack of medical access, unsafe food and water resulting in the detainees becoming ill and then not receiving medical care for these illnesses. This is the United States of America. These inhumane conditions should never be acceptable in a civilized society. Regardless of their immigration status, these people are human beings and deserve to be treated with respect and common decency.

There are reports that there are very young children being placed in isolation for extended periods of time. This is cruel and unusual treatment of children, and needs to be immediately addressed.

I am requesting that an independent reviewer be sent to these facilities to determine the extent of the safety issues being reported. This report needs to be submitted for Congressional review, and Congress then needs to report to the citizens of the United States of the determinations of this review and provide a detailed plan to address and correct the violations of safety standards and the inhumane conditions endured by these detainees.

    Thank you,

  3. Call me cynical, but I highly doubt that the agency that has violated more court orders this entire year than any other federal agency will pay any special heed to this court order.

That’s the state of American democracy right now-if you work for the government, you’re free to ignore the courts or just the law in general.

  4. Add it to the almost 100 court orders DHS/ICE has ignored in just the month of January alone.

  5. Wow, this is wild, like seriously, how often do we see judges doing a complete 180 on cases, think there’s way more to this story than we know.

Even though there was already a different judge that said not to even put him there in the first place

“All of us are less safe because liberal activist judges want violent criminals on the streets. “ DHS spokes person probably.

I think judges are becoming more and more powerless by the day in today’s America 🇺🇸 which is scary as f… if you want to rely on the law to protect you!!

…. or _what_?    If they don’t release him is Judge Biery going to give the administration a dirty look or write them a strongly worded letter?  He’s certainly not going to charge them with contempt of court, because doing that seems to violate some kind of unwritten agreement among US judges.

At the top you have the Jeffrey Epstein class commiting the most vile and satanic acts on children, and at the bottom you have the Jeffrey Epstein class’s most loyal guards who are beating and  throwing children into solitary confinement. This is what an Epsteinocracy looks like.

  13. If anyone in the Trump administration read or followed judge’s orders I’m sure they’d be very upset.

  14. Now lets see if they actually follow it, or simply ignore it. The past year has been an exercise in demonstrating the absolute magnitude of Judicial impotence in the face of a rouge executive and an equally rogue Department of Justice. The Judiciary needs some kind of independent mechanism of enforcing their rulings, and I think the suggestion of placing the US. Marshals under the direct command of the Judicial Branch should be one of the first reforms taken once/if we take our country back. An even more important step is creating much more distance between the JOJ and the Executive, I’m not sure moving them under the Judiciary too is the right step, but a type of independence similar to the Federal Reserve is probably warranted to avoid a situation where you can have a rogue Executive acting with impunity because the JOJ is in cahoots with them.
