Wow. Trump won this district in 2024 by dem just win by 14%.

A 31% difference, and it looks like their attempt to steal 5 seats isn’t gonna go so well.

    🙂

They should have just stuck to robbing the working class blind and carrying out a more restrained version of their current ICE terror campaign. I don’t know how well turning the country into a Fascist nightmare on the brink of both economic collapse and WWIII is playing with folks…

  3. Republican politicians have that confused pikachu face after even some of their loyal base reject their nazi policies and pedo Leader

  4. I made sure to remind everyone I could to get out and vote, I even went during the storm.  Feels good to be a part of this one!

Didn’t they win a seat that was vacated by a democrat? I’m not sure how that’s reliably republican

They really think they can frighten everyone into submission with their Nazi tactics but people are just getting angry instead. Angry and fed up.

  7. This should be a wake-up call for the GOP but I suspect it’ll just make them more authoritarian.

    >Rehmet, a labor union leader and veteran, easily defeated Republican Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist, in the Fort Worth-area district. With almost all votes counted, Rehmet had a comfortable lead of more than 14 percentage points.

    >“This win goes to everyday working people,” Rehmet told supporters.

    >His victory added to Democrats’ record of overperforming in special elections so far this cycle. Democrats said it was further evidence that voters under the second Trump administration are motivated to reject GOP candidates and their policies.

I will keep saying this over and over: change doesn’t start at the midterms, it starts at every state, county, judicial, sheriff, mayor, city council, and education board election that happens between *now* and the midterms. *Because we shouldn’t wait until the midterms*. *Every* seat Democrats win at any level makes rigging the midterms that much harder for Trump.

    Keep the pressure on:

  9. He didn’t just win, he trounced his opponent. A Democrat winning a Trump +17 seat by 14 points (31 point swing) bodes very poorly for Republicans in November.

It’s really interesting how a heavily-botted sub made part and parcel for a specific group of people who support one very fat orange goblin never report on any of these losses. It’s almost like that sub doesn’t reflect reality in any shape or form… not even a little mention of this over there…

  11. Democrats need to be pushing to the forefront whatever bullshit Republicans and the white house are going to be looking to pull in the midterms. Trump and the rest of them will do whatever it takes to stay in power and some of the demands for voter information from Minnesota reflect a plan. Results like this will have them extra concerned

I don’t understand why they would be stunned by this lol. I secretly hope they keep pretending the way Trump governs isn’t insane and lying about the economy etc. The midterms will be a blood bath.
