Both. He is both lying *and* demented.

And as an aside, kudos to Commondreams (the article source) for actually using the word “lying” instead of the usual “misleading” or other normalization-of-this-insanity language.

Trump crimed in his dad Fred’s name while the old creep was goofy with dementia. Then, when Fred died, Donny pissed on his family and took all the crime profits and family biz for himself. Now, look at doddering Don. His spawn are doing the same shit daddy taught them. Kushner and Ivanka are shrewder than the rest of the inbred sheep. Whole shebang, and all of US monies, are moving to Trump World MidEast or some such bullshit. They do not do this alone.

Use Epstein files to get close to them, point out their lies and crimes, then make them and their supporters hurt.

    Please.

Oh to the see the faces in the room of this candidate as her orange lord and savior pretends he doesn’t know her. That’s a FULL leopard right there.

    >I’m not involved in that, that’s a local Texas race,” Trump replied. In fact, Trump endorsed losing Republican candidate Leigh Wambsganss on three separate occasions in just the last three days, including a Saturday post on Truth Social where he called her “a phenomenal Candidate” and “an incredible supporter of our Movement to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”

Trump believes he can change people’s thinking by lying. He’s lied about most everything his entire life, except when he’s accusing opponents of illegal actions he’s recently done himself.

  6. He ALWAYS does this. Remember how many senior advisors his first term that became “Oh, yeah, I think they got me coffee once?” once their reputation was too burned for them to be of any use to him?

  7. This election was about what Patriot Mobile tried with the KISD, and the endorsement his assistant posted most likely cost him voters – not vice versa.

Texas doesn’t want nor need to be on his mind.

Would someone have the reporters maybe ask him about the Melania novel on Amazon, instead?

  8. The guy doesn’t remember the last time his diaper was changed 2 hours ago. He is stumbling though life now from one rage session to the next

  9. I had a friend a while back that would lie all the time about really trivial things, they weren’t really harmful lies so we never called him on them. My point is that it’s easy to identify liars bc they can’t keep things straight. He never knew that we all knew. trump whole world revolves around lying and there is no way he can keep them all straight and it’s so obvious… unless of course you’re in a cult.

What they should have asked him was how he felt about the person he endorsed winning in a landslide and then let him talk about that for about 10 minutes and then reverse course to say oh I’m sorry it was the other way around they lost in the landslide and see what he says.

  11. He doesn’t want to be seen as a LOOSER. So he will endorse someone thinking that his name being there will skyrocket that person. But when it doesn’t, “I don’t know who you’re talking about.”

  12. Why worry about it. The better headline is to take him at his word. “Trump is unaware that he endorsed candidate. Says he was not involved”. If the news is going to claim to be objective they should not be filling in motivations.

Can’t it be demented lying? He’s a piece of shit liar that is deranged and his brain is curdling.

Lying demented child molesting adulting rapist Donald Trump. Unless this man dies in a prison, justice is a fake joke that does not apply if you’ve got enough money and power. I am so so sad to be an American right now

  15. I actually fully believe he knows nothing at all about most candidates he endorses. Probably doesn’t remember within five seconds of doing it.

  16. It’s lying. When something backfires he always does the “I don’t know anything about it, I’m not involved” schtick. It’s an obvious symptom of his narcissism.
