I don’t understand the point of this – hold the guilty ICE officers accountable and punish them, and their bosses. This is just a distraction, and throws them all under the bus, some of whom probably joined simply because they went for a bag of money and guilty of nothing else.

Ban them from any job where they interact with people, Uber drivers, bartenders, barbers etc. Is this illegal and unconstitutional? Probably, but it would take years of court fights to overturn. Better yet, just ban them from California entirely. Of course, I’m dreaming, but I wish I wasn’t.

To Be Fair: I don’t believe ICE Agents would be interested in teaching K-12. Besides K-12 teaching doesn’t have a place for Special Forces either as there’s way too many teachers burnt out and leave the profession.

Nope, not a one, no Red State would ever make a mirroring bill that bans anyone from a government job if they ever worked in comprehensive women’s health care, progressive non-profits, environmental organization… nope wouldn’t ever happen.
Let’s just give the State oppressive control over people’s livelihood and then just uh…. Cross our fingers and hope people we agree with win every election from now till doomsday. Sounds awesome.
