The newest tranche of documents, released last week, re-ignited a familiar headache for POTUS. Vance doesn’t seem too bright, so I doubt there’s some machiavellian motive behind this. And even if there were, it seems like the environment isn’t quite ripe yet for the Republicans to want to impeach and remove Trump, so it’s still poor timing for the Brutus knives to come out just yet.
But Vance is probably one of the few in the current administration who most likely isn’t in the files so he may not care much if everyone around him crashes and burns while he hopes to rise to the top.

Trump saying let’s just move along to his other crimes that his 6 on the Roberts court have covered by absolute immunity, is an indication he’s got lots more to hide.
