  1. Vance accidentally sabotages everything in the Republican Party. That’s why he’s so unpopular in the GOP.

    From the article:

” Vice President JD Vance appears to have split with President Trump on what should happen next regarding the latest dump of the Epstein files.

The newest tranche of documents, released last week, re-ignited a familiar headache for POTUS. It also saw the return of a familiar veiled plea, after his name or related terms were found 5,300 times within the documents. “I think it’s really time for the country to get onto something else,” Trump said in the Oval Office on Tuesday afternoon.

But, around an hour prior, the Daily Mail dropped a wide-ranging interview with Trump’s second in command, where he suggested that he was open to a fresh probe in relation to the files.

Over the weekend, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, previously known as Prince Andrew, should be prepared to testify before Congress about his past dealings with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019.

“I saw Keir Starmer said something about this,” Vance told the Mail, before firmly stating his position. “I’m certainly open to it,” he added.

As Trump was trying to brush three million files under the rug in the Oval Office, the vice president was telling one of the world’s most read publications that he thinks official probes into the files should continue. “

If Vance had any political savvy or ruthlessness he’d capitalize on this and seize th presidency. Idk whether to be grateful or pissed

  4. I have bunions with more charisma that our VP. He also doesn’t seem very savvy about anything other than taking vacations on the tax payer dime, and of course changing his own name. Not to mention that he looks like every man with a beard who has been stung in the face by hornets.

  5. Vance doesn’t seem too bright, so I doubt there’s some machiavellian motive behind this. And even if there were, it seems like the environment isn’t quite ripe yet for the Republicans to want to impeach and remove Trump, so it’s still poor timing for the Brutus knives to come out just yet.

But Vance is probably one of the few in the current administration who most likely isn’t in the files so he may not care much if everyone around him crashes and burns while he hopes to rise to the top.

  6. His only job is being the political face of Peter Thiel. Once you realize that everything makes sense with Vance

Vance can draft and deliver a well spoken speech sometimes. However, when he joined Karoline Leavit for a Whitehouse briefing after Renee Good, Vance posed and delivered a reprimand like a dad who has come home to chide unruly and disobedient children.

    We aren’t children.

We saw what happened, and no furrowed brow or tone of voice is going to change that. He’s not fit, trustworthy, or even wanted by the base he hopes to somehow inherit.

I wish I could take the daily beast seriously… its about as trustworthy as the NYP, unfortunately.

  9. Vance sees his opening. If Trump is Impeached he thinks that he will be POTUS. This is the only way that he can do this because he sure as hell is not going to be elected.

I’ve seen/heard the outlets use the word tranche at least 10 times in the past couple of days. Even though they’re reporting on the case, they’re still following the “corporate messaging.”

    “Accidentally.”

I’m all for a Republican civil war. The folks in the party who aren’t pedophiles and who aren’t interested in protecting pedophiles need to start speaking up.

  12. Every headline by the daily beast always seems to be too good to be true because I rarely am able to find other articles by more mainstream publications that corroborate this type of stuff.

Vance is not popular enough to get elected. He is really hoping for something that will remove Trump, but not hurt him.

I’m convinced of the right opportunity comes along. He will throw out Trump under the bus lickety split.

  14. 🪭The Epstein files offer America the opposite of closure. They are the latest widening of a scandal that has become a leitmotif of our time — not only because half the material remains unreleased.

A budding Vladimir Lenin, or Benito Mussolini, might see the files as kindling awaiting a revolutionary spark.

🫡On the basis that politics is downstream of culture, today’s public moral outrage will further corrode faith in US democracy. How can you throw the bums out when they span the system?

  15. He’s got a fat baby face and always looks like an angry toddler. I just don’t think he is presidential material for this and many other reasons. However, I read his book years ago and thought it was very well written. I don’t know what has happened to him.

  17. We have to wait and see who Pooty Poot chooses as GW liked to call him. You can tell when the fake news stories start to fly on Facebook. The kingmaker has selected the successor.

Real off topic question but out of curiosity is Trump’s loverboy Kim Jong Un mentioned in the files anywhere?

There’s another 3 million documents still not released. We can assume that they contain lots more Trump exposure that is being hidden.

Trump saying let’s just move along to his other crimes that his 6 on the Roberts court have covered by absolute immunity, is an indication he’s got lots more to hide.
