  1. This isn’t surprising in the least. He’s always been a racist with a well documented history of racism even being sued by the government for blatant discrimination and lost.

  2. YgramulTheMany on

I did it, but it wasn’t me though, it was done by a staffer, except the staffer was me, but it wasn’t a mistake, and I don’t apologize.

    Do I have that right?

  3. NotThatHandsomePete on

Tim Scott wasn’t happy, this was the MOST racist thing he’s seen from the white house. He’s OK with all the other racist things I guess.

  4. Didn’t he sue that comedian because he had a joke about trump’s hair resembling an Orangutan?

  5. Virtual-Squirrel-725 on

This is Trump 2.0, he doesn’t even try to hide his racism. Back the 1.0 days he would dog whistle to his rabid racist base, now he just says it all out loud.

A totally unhinged pedophile living his fascist dream.

  6. This racist buffoon needs to be the centre of attention everyday. His platform before he took office was always appealing to his deplorable racist base.

When will the rancid and rabid dog be removed from office?

  7. conservatives for sure approve of his racism and his children raping, which is appalling.

  8. And someone needs to remind his bimbo spokesliar that there are no apes in “Lion King.”

is anyone actually surprised? the man treats apologizing like it’s a lethal allergy. admitting he was wrong is physically impossible for his ego. add it to the pile of things that would disqualify literally anyone else

In a public speech in 2001, George W. Bush said “You teach a child to read, and he or her will pass a literacy test”. It made national news.

Shortly after that, I was having dinner with a close friend who was 30ish years older than me. I told her that Regan and Bush had lowered the bar so drastically for the Republican Party, that it would never come back up. After going on a rant about how he was paving the way for idiots to be accepted as presidents, she told me I was too pessimistic. I wish she had been right.

To give Bush credit where it’s due, six days after 9/11 he said “The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That’s not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace. These terrorists don’t represent peace. They represent evil and war.

“The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam.  That’s not what Islam is all about.  Islam is peace.  These terrorists don’t represent peace.  They represent evil and war.

When we think of Islam we think of a faith that brings comfort to a billion people around the world.  Billions of people find comfort and solace and peace.  And that’s made brothers and sisters out of every race — out of every race.”

it’s not a mistake, it’s a dog whistle. he’s not apologizing because he knows exactly who his audience is. he feeds on the outrage. by refusing to apologize, he looks ‘strong’ to his base and keeps his name in the headlines for another 24 hours. it’s cynical, but it works

  12. yoursandforever on

If he ever apologized for ANYTHING time would stand still and the world would implode.

  13. ~~Brazen~~ Racist.

Journalists are going to need to start having the guts to tell the truth. It’s their fucking job.

  14. It is very funny to me how often his idiot staffers invent a series of lies to explain why Trump would never do something so awful only to have him come out later and be like ‘yeah that was totally me’.

  15. People often tell me that I am an asshole, and maybe I am. I’m pretty much socially clueless &/or inept.

And. Who knows? Maybe I, too, would author a racist video. Becasue I’ve worked with folks who others have pointed out to me were persons of color (whom I dind’t notice were POCs; so I guess I’m woke or some crap like that)

But it (me being an asshole) is not a thing I aspire to. Or put in an effort at all working on it.

I mean to say: it’s not like every day I say to myself “How can I be more of an asshole?” Indeed, I, if anything — and ussually not — I ask myself “How can I be less of an asshole”.

    But that’s just me.

    Not like, say, some people?

Maybe that (trying to not be a asshole) is one of them there Chrsitinian prnciples on which some folks tell say the USA was founded on?

Which is a damned shamed being that I’m agnostic.

    Oh, well.

    Cool

They don’t use the 25th amendment now just throw the Constitution away.

They’ve already desecrated it, might as well stop pretending and just burn it on the White House lawn.

  17. Jolly_Grocery329 on

    1. I know nothing about it.
    2. I do know about it, but it wasn’t me.
    3. It was me – but I was joking.
    4. I wasn’t joking but it’s not really that bad.
    5. Libs are snowflakes

Fuck I’m tired of this shit stain of a human.

  18. Whether or not he approves it is irrelevant, it came from his account so he is responsible for it.

  19. He also doesn’t care that you know that he fucking raped young girls. And trafficked them.

He also knows no one is doing anything about any of it.

    God I hate this.

  20. And all on Black History Month and right after not acknowledging MLK Jr Day. What is he trying to tell us?

  21. NatashOverWorld on

Hrs reminding his voter base why they voted for him: the violent fascist racism.

“Ignore the kids, I can still hurt coloured people for you!!”

I hate that it might work on MAGA.

  22. RefrigeratorNo1160 on

Legit question: has he ever publicly apologized for ANYTHING? Plenty of people have asked him to

  23. beerdrunkraccoon on

He’s been blatantly openly racist for more than a decade. He entered politics with his birther bullshit trying to de-ligitimize the first black president.

  24. tenderhysteria on

In other wild news: bears happen to shit in the woods, and the Pope is apparently Catholic!

This is the same wildly racist dude who obsessed over the whole Obama birther conspiracy and called Haiti and African countries “shithole” nations. The real crazy notion is that anyone, whether they’re citizens or members of Congress, would be fucking surprised by this at all.

  25. SpiritualAd8998 on

As an Oompa Loompa you’d think he’d be adverse to making fun of people of color.

  26. TrevorMcKinney on

On a regular basis I have pictured dt as an orange baboon, and I won’t apologize for it.
Well, to the baboons I may.
