When a police officer is found to have falsified evidence and deliberately tried to frame an innocent person, the remedy seems to be limited to the exclusion of the falsified evidence being admitted at trial. How come we never hear about the officer being charged with perjury?
There’s almost never a consequence for falsifying documents and then we wonder why it keeps happening.
