  1. Concentration camps are now legal, I see. What’s next, signs at the camps with the slogan “Arbeit macht frei”?

  2. Are the schlubs on the 5th Circuit morons or something? The INA does not override constitutional rights.

I wonder how much the checks were for. We’d have to check the Signal messages.

  3. “indefinite detention is constitutional”… please tell me, in a philosophical sense, how this could be valid in a civilised State.

The 5th circuit is an ideological cesspool that yearns to be a court in a fascist state doing the work of a fascist state.

  5. Indefinite detention without bond hearings pretty much throws habeas corpus out the window. Are we really okay with that? This isn’t just policy, it’s a fundamental shift in civil rights.

  6. CA5 will pretty much okay anything that Trump does. It’s where the rule of law goes to die.

The 5th circuit is full of SCOTUS wanna bees who outdo each other to be more MAGA than the last in order to get on top of the list. Forget impeaching Trump. Impeach all these MAGATs that inhabit Appellate courts and executive departments.

  8. I thought they were going to call us all domestic terrorists, but maybe they just have to claim we are undocumented. Even if we are documented and legal, it wont matter because we never see a courtroom. There doesn’t even need to be a charge, we are just all always under indefinite detention,

    shit thats horrifying

  9. What in the actual fuck?

Why would it ever be reasonable to allow indefinite detention of people and why in the creepy capitalistic nightmarish fuck would these federal sadists even want to lock people up indefinitely?

Is this bs all about private prisons again? We need to ban private prisons once and for all.

  10. Those appellate courts have ruled in Trump’s favor more than 60% of the time. That’s a genuine problem.

  11. Funny thing is that indefinite imprisonment without the right to due process was one of the abuses the magna carta addressed. So we have now fallen behind the legal system of… thirteenth century england.

no joke, any judge that supported this should be disbarred. while it’s far from it now, America is meant to be under rule of *law*, not man. if you so willingly disregard all precedent, logic and understanding of the constitution to appease one man you do not deserve the honor of weighing on such important manners

  13. Money always wins. Don’t tell me you’re surprised. Someone check that judges bank statement. Or was he just gifted a yacht?

If you still think that either the courts or the Democrats are going to save us from this nightmare, you are mistaken.

I always wondered how a few hundred years of the rule of law would end.

    Now I know.

So why would anyone bother to follow laws in the United States anymore?

  16. Why does the average citizen have to obey any laws, when this administration has made it clear they don’t intend to follow any laws.

You have a rapist mudding pedophile as their leader, and the government is protecting him.

If the laws no longer apply for some, then they eventually stop applying for everyone.
