Kash was living his best life and jet setting around the country on the tax payer dime with his 20-something year old girlfriend. He doesn’t have time to read files, let alone *the files*. He probably didn’t know! Nobody has time for that.
Surely he isn’t just an idiot yes man with no moral objection to lying for a man who he both admires and fears. And would be worried that he could be fired at any time (even in the field, far from home) and told he has to find his own way home because he lost the right to use the sacred FBI jet, like what Trump did to Comey when he was fired, simply because Trump is extremely petty and vindictive. Surely it isn’t that.

Look, the real kicker here is that Massie isn’t just calling out Patel he’s calling out the whole system that allows this kind of selective truth-telling. Follow the money, and you’ll see it’s the donors, the lobbyists, and the corporate backers who fund this kind of manipulation. These unredacted files are a reminder that there’s a lot more on the line than what they’re letting us see specifically, the profits from keeping certain names out of the conversation.
