    >A Turning Point USA event for Maryland high schoolers was reported to child protective services after parents expressed “serious concern” about their children’s safety at the meeting.

    >A parent, identified only as “Nancy,” told attendees at a Calvert County school board meeting on February 12 that kids had been put at risk because adults were not allowed to attend the event.

Before revealing that CPS had been contacted, she said that the event “raises serious concerns related to student safety, parental rights and governance oversight.”

    >”Excluding parents and guardians from a student-focused event creates a lack of transparency and undermines established best practices for youth safety,” she continued. “Students are widely recognized as a vulnerable population, they are in critical developmental stages, and especially susceptible to influence.”

  2. I would also be concerned about turning point being around children
. Something something the price to pay that podcasters said. Fuck turning point!

Well considering Toilet Paper USA works with known pedophiles like Steve Bannon and Shawn Bergstrand the parents are right to be concerned

    > “I can’t groom children because I am a child. I don’t have any felony charges or convictions.”

    This is also false.

A common thing with grooming is that it happens when children are coerced and manipulated without parents’ or guardians’ consent or knowledge.

Anyway that child and his hard drives should probably be investigated since he doesn’t seem to realize that children sexually abusing other children is still child sexual abuse. That statement reads like something you would say if you were a child sexual abuser who hasn’t been caught yet.

A better denial would be like “I would never groom or abuse,” not “I’ve never been charged and it would be definitionally impossible for me to commit abuse.”

More Christian Nationalism and Right-Wing bullshit. Trying to brain wash children while supporting fuhrer Trump.

  5. Aren’t these the people that demand parents be given the full syllabus of every class and be allowed to opt their kids out whatever lesson they deem upsetting.

Jesus’s words I thought you guys claimed so heartily to believe in – Matthew 10:14 (KJV) “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.”

He did not say attempt to make their lives a miserable hell.

  7. This would be a more effective article if it gave some indication of the degree of pressure or force on attendance. Were students directed by their home room teachers to attend the meeting? Did some choose not to attend? But regardless, TP shouldn’t be there in the first place—kinda like military recruiters pushing kids to join up.

They added a chapter at our local high school and everyone seems to have somehow gotten the impression it was a debate club?

  9. I wonder what the punishment is for filing a false CPS claim.

(EDIT: My bad, I thought they called CPS on the parent that raised concerns at the board meeting.)

The article isn’t very clear. Is this like a school assembly or a group that students can choose to join? I would hope no one would want to join but that feels like an important distinction.

Some kind of MAGA grooming. Hitler turned the youth against their patents, and MAGA is no different.

  12. That seems like a massive overreaction. Especially if parents are allowed like TPUSA is claiming.

  13. “If you don’t let us indoctrinate your kids will just steal them from you and do it anyway”

  14. These fucking people.

For YEARS they projected and stated that progressives and Democrats were trying to brainwash kids.

The level of projection these sick fucks display is mind-boggling. It’s like they’ve unknowingly given us their whole script

  15. This isn’t a CPS issue. Tpusa doesn’t have custody of these kids. This is a police report.

  16. Parents questioned a TPUSA school event CPS got called on them “parental rights” meets “but only for our side”

Can we just universally recognize that ANY politically-affiliated group should not be allowed near anyone under 18?

Sounds like they’re turning these events into a conveyor pathway to more Epstein style shit
