If the companies are getting the refunds, doesn’t that mean that they have to show how much they’re owed? To show how much they are owed, don’t they have to back that up with data, proving it for tax purposes, and doesn’t that mean the work to know how much each customer is owed would be done?

They can find a million different ways to say it, but the reality that all of these polls point to is that trump has a diehard base of a third of the country that will let him get away with absolutely anything. His approval never dips below thirty-something percent. A “majority” of americans oppose whichever is the latest of his crimes, but its always sixty-something percent.
We’re pretty much past the point where opinion polling really achieves anything, it seems. No matter what issue, you’re gonna get the same conclusions over and over again. An overrepresented group of dipshits has been systematically grown since the Reagan era to fall in line no matter what.
