If Iran doesn’t capitulate soon, there are going to be a lot more American service members killed because we do not have enough defensive missiles to continue shooting down Iranian missiles and drones for an extended period of time and these air defense systems aren’t something you can just ramp up production of overnight.

It’s awful that Americans are dying because of this, and it’s equally awful, if not more so, that MANY others are also dying. And, I find it particularly troublesome how we conduct so much of our wars now with missiles and drones and bombs that keep the perpetrators relatively out of harms way. In the not too distant future we’ll undoubtedly have robots going around killing people. If you’re going to do this you should have to suffer consequences that should motivate you to ensure that what you are doing is righteous. Of course those consequences will never be felt directly by those declaring it to happen.
