Fossil fuel interests are forever touting more drilling as abundance and energy security, but the true is fossil fuels will always be a volatile commodity. The sun and the wind, on the other hand, cannot be bought or sold, they belong to everyone on the planet. Countries are waking up to the fact that energy from domestic renewables is the only path to energy security.
