Increased the deficit is the words you are looking for. Why is the media so weak now.

  2. Because DOGE staffers knew exactly what they were there to do. To steal and shut down investigations into Musk. So why would they regret it?

Ever wonder what a mid-level official from the Third Reich would look like in today’s America?! Here you go….

Literal dunning krugger effect in these depositions.
“Do you think someone with no background in research or the grants process should be evaluating research grants?”
“No if you’re well-read and have alternative experience that’s sufficient”

We need to put these little dead-eyed scumbags in federal prison in a few years.

Their only qualifications to work at doge were that they are smarmy, self-entitled and arrogant little shits that probably couldn’t get real work elsewhere. May karma come back to bite them hard on the ass one day.

  7. These two ***boys*** are complete morons. They can’t even define what DEI is. They have no clue. Their defense of their actions are completely without any substance.

If the laws don’t matter for any of these people why should they matter to any of us?

  10. Reducing the deficit was never the plan. It was the excuse for gaining access to all the records and files.

Notice how suddenly they were just done? Yeah, they got the access they needed.

I wonder if these guys have a comfortable day to day life , are they ostracized in public, do they have wives or girlfriends (we know they aren’t gay or they would not have gotten the job) do they have a place where they feel comfortable to just hang out.

They appear to be mostly young, White men, of a similar level of education and experience. And some kind of Any Rand type of ideologues.

They don’t have a high-level of life experience or professional/technical experience. Their perspectives and experiences are limited, and heavily filtered through ideology.

They may not have had to work through many difficulties or rely on other people or programs for anything. They may have come from higher income and higher educated communities and families.

They have narrow view of people and of the world. They are perfect henchmen but, not yet capable of deep and balanced thought, of a Human-Level fundamental respect of others, etc. Not excusing their behavior but just saying water is wet.

Not the sort of people who should be in those positions, unless of course, that exactly the kind of person you want in those positions.

  13. How could they understand the struggles of feeding a family, these are the children of privilege. They never had to worry about making the rent, or probably even making a sandwich themselves. They don’t care, it was a fat paycheck and bragging rights.

  14. These guys would love a job as an insurance adjuster. Just getting paid to bankrupt people who did nothing wrong.

“Well sure we ruined people’s lives and didn’t actually accomplish lowering the deficit but I don’t let haters bring me down” *chugs mountain dew*

Confidence and Competence are not directly linked. Too many people are promoted because their unjustified confidence is like a drug for anxious, uninformed leadership.

Republicans need to cut the cancer that is MAGA out. These people don’t care about America, they care about Russia.

Wait, they didn’t even use Grok? I guess so that when the incompetence comes to light, chatgpt gets the blame?

These little punks had no business doing what they did. Musk is responsible for all of this shit. Where is Musk now since Trump is spending money like a wild maniac on pet projects, wars and Hegseth with his military expenditures. Did any of what these little twits do amount to anything good? No! I hope these little shits do some time in jail but they probably won’t.

  20. “Did you reduce the federal deficit?” the attorney asked.

    “No, we didn’t,” Cavanaugh said.

I hope they don’t have the emotional maturity to deal with this type of deposition

They bought into the bullshit that everything bad was clearly marked “waste, fraud, and abuse.” As if they’d walk in and there’d be a guy with a black and white striped shirt and a black eye mask holding a bag with a dollar sign on it and twirling his mustache and they’d just say “hey, found the problem”.

But no, it turns out all these things are not simple. Policy is complex. You’re balancing the desires of 300M+ citizens. If it were easy, it’d have been done already.

So these dumbasses took the easy route and just smashed everything simply because they’re too dumb to find out what should actually be cut. There’s a reason people study policy and work long hours to get an understanding of “the books” and spending, and these guys just thought “nah, what you really have to do is ask Grok”.

These are the guys I think of whenever people say “college doesn’t teach you anything.” I promise you, if these idiots had gone to a legit college and payed attention, they’d have learned about the complexity of the world.

Why did DOGE fail to reduce the deficit?

The textbook definitions, or strict interpretations of the laws of supply, demand, spending, and revenue do not scale properly from personal finances to federal budgets or giant corporate consortiums.

The deficit won’t be resolved through taxation or spending cuts. If it is resolved, it will require a fundamental transformation in the behavior of all market participants.

They hurt disfavored people and made money doing it, what would they possibly regret?

  25. These kids don’t have the capacity to understand what they did, let alone have any regrets about it. They don’t have enough life experience to even form an opinion about what they have done. It won’t be until life kicks them in the nuts, that they will begin to understand how bad they screwed up.
