    >During a segment about the response to rising gas prices on [NBC’s *Meet the Press NOW*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBVKmOQMYaE) Tuesday, politics reporter Jonathan Allen spoke to Pennsylvania resident Amanda Robbins at a gas station in Millersburg.

    >“If you could say something to President Trump and he was gonna hear you right now what would it be?” Allen asked.

    >“You are a worthless pile of shit,” Robbins said.

    >“And you voted for him how many times?”

    >“Three times. That was my bad, apparently I’m an idiot,” she said.

“Random Karen finally mad at Trump.” Headline News everyone! Posted again, and again, and again.

  3. WaddlesLament on

No they aren’t. He has a 90+% approval rating for the Iran war with MAGA voters. I despise these misleading headlines

  4. Yes, this story has been posted multiple times.

Malicious idiot being right for the wrong reasons is not that interesting.

  5. rednecronomicon on

They aren’t turning on him because he’s racist, demonizes trans people and people of color, sexually assaults women and brags about it, steals from the government, runs scams, holds no Christian values, or was part of the pedophilic cabal of oligarchs running our nation. They’re mad because gas prices went up.

They’re not good people. They’re selfish, lack critical thinking skills, and rally against our collective best interests, but I’ll take anyone willing to stand against this fascist bullshit at this point.

If you have family, friends, or coworkers who are still buying into this fascist takeover of America supported by conservative *”values”* it’s time to stop associating with them. No need to be angry or explain to them, just remove this toxicity from your social life. No more small talk, only information that needs to be given. Don’t talk about your personal life, say no to hangouts or events, and quit hearing them out. Quit supporting the fascism supporters.

I think this war is GREAT for MAGAs!!!

This will give them a chance to really show the country what being a traditional male role is! Get out to those military recruiting centers and show us what a strong American male looks like! Lets go fellas!

  7. We’ve been reading this kind of story for ten years. These anecdotes about one Trump supporter expressing regret don’t mean anything. Recent polling shows that his Maga-base support the Iran war at around 90% approval. I also wish people would stop being surprised by this. It’s a personality cult, and you need to treat it as such. Facts don’t matter to people in cults. Your cult leader saying one thing, and then doing the opposite, does not matter to you when you are deep in the cult.

The story they should be writing is how the un-engaged and un-informed “middle” view current events. Those people overwhelmingly disapproving of the Iran war – and that was on top of their disapproval of the Trump administrations handling of the economy, ICE, Epstein files, foreign policy in general, etc. Trump will always have a fanatical base of support that clocks in around 35% no matter what he does, but he can’t accomplish much with *only* that – therein lies the good news.

A pile of shit has a purpose though. You could grow some plants with it.

  9. I saw a post 30 minutes ago that said 90% of MAGA support his war. Headlines for clicks. Mainstream media is a joke.

  10. They are all morons and i trust none of them… as soon as the gas prices go down, they’ll be back on their knees.

  11. Accomplished-Head449 on

All because their F-150 cost more to fill up. Fuck the morons. They’re the reason we’re in this mess

  12. AlarmingArm9919 on

an article about trump supporters leaving him has come out every couple days for ten years

  13. PerplexingGrapefruit on

At this point, the only way I’ll believe Trump voters are “done” with MAGA is if they don’t vote Republican in the next election.

I guarantee you overwhelmingly these people will gladly vote Trump again for a fourth time despite their “outrage”.

  14. PsychologicalElk939 on

The other article posted here says 90% of Republicans overwhelmingly support his war, so which is it? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/maga-trump-iran-war-support-poll-b2940610.html

  15. Evil_Weevill on

Really sick of these articles trying to make it seem like Trump voters are suddenly regretting voting for him.

His approval ratings are still about equal with the amount of Americans who voted for him. Over 90% of MAGA still support the Iran war. A few lifelong Republicans who weren’t specifically Trump cultists and just always vote R are regretting their choices now that stocks are falling and gas is rising.

But the vast majority of his supporters still support him.

We need to stop pretending that we have a population of gullible but well meaning fools who are slowly coming around.

We’re never going to get past this as a country until we come to terms with the fact that nearly 1/3 of this country weren’t duped. They’re just shitty people who fully approve of all this.

  16. Trump voters are idiot children.

We all know the campaign promises of any politicians are bull. The point is to do our best for the country and choose the best possible candidate even if it’s between two awful choices.

These fuckers did the opposite. They don’t care what anyone else was offering, they just wanted to hurt people.

  17. 1970s_MonkeyKing on

I dunno. There is a competing article saying that most of MAGA supports him.

If they don’t show up at the pools this November, color me shocked. They’re spineless and mean spirited and will fall in line like good little weasels.

  18. Whycantigetanaccount on

Trump doesn’t care about you. He already said directly and plainly exactly that, “I don’t need you anymore’ before he was confirmed and in office. he said he didn’t need you and didn’t even need your vote. He meant it.

  19. GenericMacAndCheese on

Ah yes the daily “Trump’s base in imploding” article from New Republic. Well the garbage Trump flags and yard signs in my area say otherwise. The cult is still strong, unfortunately.

  20. Joebranflakes on

The problem is, once they hit the voting booth, they’ll tick the red box anyways. They just can’t bring themselves to vote any other way. The guy that replaces Trump could be just as bad, but they’ll vote for him because “they’re republicans”. Hillary was right. They’re all just a bunch of deplorables.

  21. BeleagueredWDW on

They aren’t tired. They’d vote for him again. They will never, ever not vote R.

  22. base2-1000101 on

The core will never turn on him. But I’ll wager independents who may have supported the GOP in ’24 are peeling off. “Don’t touch people’s wallets” is the golden rule in politics. And we just need enough of their voters to stay home to capture the House. And hopefully the Senate.

I’ve been there in the past – frustrated with my party’s performance but unwilling to vote for the other side. Instead of admitting that I was wrong, I just stayed home instead of going to the polls. Let’s hope some MAGA folks do that as well.

  23. Why does it feel like the narrative of tired Trump voters is being pushed hard but the reality will come out that they don’t actually care what he does? Am I just cynical?

  24. Niitroglycerine on

    No they aren’t lol

They’re just upset that something is actually measurabley affecting them

Unlike all the other made up stuff they *think* is affecting them

  25. What I find funny (peculiar) is that I just read an article stating almost 90% of maga base support the Iran war. Go figure. 🤷‍♀️

  26. meanwhile over at the conservative side of Reddit they are all being armchair generals because the second Trump starts a war they turn right back into the warhawk neo-cons they railed against just 6 months ago.

Go spend even 5 minutes there just reading how they talk to eachother and it’s insane. Even comments that are critical always start with “I love trump but…” or “Trump’s generals are messing this up” They are physically incapable of openly criticizing him because the only thing worse than death for them is being accused of being a liberal by their fellow conservatives.

  27. Effinehright on

They aren’t though, you’re fucking dumb if you believe this. Go to your local news page and read the comments about anything. They’re still there and they are still worshipping and believing anything they’re told.
