He’ll just keep the money himself, then. Oh, wait, that was always the plan…

Everything is a “might” how about just fucking do it? Why is everything a maybe or might?

  3. The American people expected that $400 million dollars to be put to good use. For the President to just say “we’re gonna spend $450 million on a big room” is ludicrous, but this is 2026 after all and we should have guessed that that 500 million dollars would be wasted. It’s not like he had any good suggestions for six hundred million, right?

Anyway, $750 million isn’t enough to solve the world’s problems, but it’s almost enough to surround Trump with golden walls and slightly warm chicken dinners on Corel plates. It’s just a single billion. He spends more than that each day just trying to raise the price of oil to where Putin wants it!

So if the judge says Trump cannot build it and Trump tries to build it anyway who is going to stop him? Isn’t it the duty of the Executive Branch to enforce laws and court rulings? That will never happen, so it seems like the thing is getting built no matter what the judge rules.

  5. It’d be pretty funny if it happened so that it stays fucked up while trump is president.

  6. It was all a grift to collect donations. God knows where the hundreds of millions collected are!

Don’t forget that plans were also found to destroy and rebuild the West Wing too.

I have absolutely no idea how the fuck a single man was allowed to tear down a piece of America’s own history like this. Really does make the great and powerful United States a facade.

It’s going to be a 2 billion dollar ballroom by the time were done, isn’t it?

  9. The judge can rule what he wants but who thinks anyone in this administration will comply with it?

How many orders have they ignored regarding just immigration issues?

If my neighbor cuts down my tree, I can sue him for a (relatively) identical tree to be installed at his expense.

They should force him to rebuild the East Wing as it was, on his dime.

He should have to repair it so it goes back to how it was out of his own pocket.

  12. Great news, but several months too late.

Every contractor involved with this demolition should be massively fined and forced to rebuild the East Wing.
