  1. There is a sub dedicated to conservative hunters that are lgbtq; I truly do not understand republicans.

  2. >On 17 March, Republican lawmakers in [Tennessee](https://www.thepinknews.com/topic/tennessee) advanced a sweeping proposal that would require healthcare providers to submit detailed information about patients receiving gender-affirming care, data that would ultimately be published in a public state report.

    >As per [Transitics](https://transitics.substack.com/p/tennessee-republicans-advance-bill), when taken together, these requirements could violate HIPAA and make it possible to identify individual patients, effectively creating a publicly accessible record of transgender people in the state.

    >The proposal also places significant pressure on medical professionals, with strict penalties for failing to comply, including potential license suspensions and heavy fines.

Christian nationalist Nazis mimicking 1933 Germany in every way. This is disgusting.

Christian nationalists are trying to commit genocide on trans people, because their religion says that trans people are “abominations” that must be sent to hell for eternal torment. Christian nationalists love to say they love everyone and that God loves everyone. Well, by their example, that’s clearly not the case.

If being a Christian means hating and committing genocide against trans people, then I would rather burn in hell with my trans friends. Trans people are my friends and family, including the ones I don’t know in person.

Will they be required to wear a small patch of the rainbow flag on their clothes at all times in public, too?

The GOP spent years complaining about “government overreach” and “gun registries,” but now they want a literal government database of people’s private medical and gender status? The hypocrisy is staggering.

What are these sick fucks so obsessed with transexuals? It’s so fucking weird. They have this rabid hatred for a tiny fraction of a fraction of the population, many of whom have never even met a Trans person in person anyway.

  6. TN folk, please stand up against this. You, as constituents, have the most power. You may think “they never listen to me”: but it’s just not true. You also want to know you’ve at least tried, as a responsible citizen, to stand up against these abuses.

You can find your legislator here: [https://www.tn.gov/directory/find-your-legislator.html](https://www.tn.gov/directory/find-your-legislator.html). I’ve heard calling works the best, but emails and letters are also good. I think faxes also make a great statement, if your office happens to still take them. Refer to the specific bill, HB 754, as well as the general efforts. Don’t forget to also contact your Governor.

  7. Yep. Total Nazi shit. And they won’t stop there either. They’re just looking to see what they can get away with.

  8. I remember when they were crying about “HIPAA” in early COVID times. Privacy for me, doxxing for thee. These people are pure evil.

Live and let live. What’s the purpose of creating this list other than to incite violence and harassment? Create a list of politicians who have stepped out of their marriage and aren’t showing “Christian” values: 90% of politicians would be on it. It’s the most “religious” folks were have to worry about. They’d physically beat their beliefs into people with their own bibles if it were only a little easier to get away with.

What’s next? List of non-Caucasians? Non-Christians? I guess “Don’t Tread On Me” only applies to White Cisgender Heterosexual Men.

almost like in an extremist religious regime! or nazi germay, as the other poster correctly stated. coincidence?

When are they going to make them wear the Star of David on their sleeve?

There are more child molesters in TN that are affiliated with church organizations than there are transgender ppl. How embarrassing and ridiculous these representatives of the people are.

  14. Do Republicans ever put forward bills that help instead of harm? Expand instead of restrict? Anything that gives instead of takes or rewards instead of punishes? Except for the ones that help them, I mean… something that actually puts the average American first?

  15. Fourth Amendment:
‘The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.’

This would clearly violate the Constitution.

  16. It’s starting with the trans community, but it won’t end there. For all our sakes, we need to protect this most vulnerable community.

This entirely, 100% a target list for murderous right-wing Christians.

I’d rather make a public list of Christian Supremecists. They deserve to be as afraid as they seem intent on making everyone else feel. We can start with Washington DC and Tenessee, work through the rest of the southern states.

  18. Im going to publicly label myself as trans if/ when this passes into law, even though I am not.

Whatever you are planning to do to my friends and family who are trans, you will have to do to me too.
