  1. And the Voter Suppression Act is not going to pass the Senate. It *will* fail, because the Senate Republicans are not going to get rid of the filibuster and the bill doesn’t have enough support to pass.

  2. hushpacketflow on

He finally said the quiet part out loud, if Republicans have to rely on actual voters they, lose.

  3. PortaPottyJonnee on

The GOP had been handed a regime to demonstrate to the American people they actually believe the shit they’ve been peddling for generations. They ruined it by showing us exactly who they are. We better hope there’s enough to lord over come November.

  4. >“The Democrats are far more likely to win the Midterms, and the next Presidential Election, if we don’t do the Termination of the Filibuster (The Nuclear Option!), because it will be impossible for Republicans to get Common Sense Policies done with these Crazed Democrat Lunatics being able to block everything by withholding their votes,” Trump wrote

This is why the GOP and MAGA must be defeated. Let the GOP sit the next 2-3 elections out, until they can de-radicalize their party. Personally I just want the GOP to go extinct, they’ve lost perspective on everything and think they can scold you into accepting their openly fascist style of government.

What’s gonna happen after Trump? Who’s the next loudmouth, fascist, racist, lying GOP candidate for 2028? or 2032? Can anyone honestly picture the GOP choosing someone better or worse?

Was Trump better than W. Bush? No

Was W.Bush better than HW Bush or Reagan No.

In the last 45+ years the GOP presidents get more and more radical and move further right. This is what’s going to happen again in 2028 and 2032, the Republicans move Further Right.

  5. News flash- Trump tells the truth for very first time. Historians take note. Some said it would never happened .
    Pundits stunned.

  6. Ambitious_Walk_2866 on

Trump admits Dems will win Congress & presidency unless he’s allowed to ~~disenfranchise voters~~ illegally Violate their constitutional rights

  7. Surroundedonallsides on

Incoming a deluge of more bots pushing “dont vote for democrats they are just as bad” even as Maga actively tries to start Armageddon and brags about it.

  8. PresentAwareness745 on

he has all of these republicans on tv and social media making up nonsense like “voter fraud” and “illegal immigrants voting by the millions!” and whatever other nonsense they can come up with

And then he just admits it out loud in front of everyone.. it’s about stealing the next election

  9. > “FOR THREE YEARS, NOTHING WILL BE PASSED, AND REPUBLICANS WILL BE BLAMED. Elections, including the Midterms, will be rightfully brutal,” he continued. “If we do terminate the Filibuster, we will get EVERYTHING approved, like no Congress in History.”
    >
    > While Trump’s social media posts seemingly focus on the filibuster — the 60 vote threshhold needed to pass votes in the narrowly Republican-controlled Senate — he has pledged not to sign any other congressionally approved legislation until the SAVE Act is passed.

This idiot not knowing that a bill gets passed into law if he doesn’t sign it within 10 days while Congress is in session.

We need to keep our guard up and do everything we can to protect our elections. They’re working round the clock to end democracy. He almost definitely cheated in 2024 and won when he wasn’t in power, now he practically has unlimited power.

  11. Yes ans 100% of Trump supporters and GOP Congress agree and will go to the ends of the earth to deploy this strategy.

  12. NeverLookBothWays on

I have a feeling they’re gearing up for more than disenfranchising voters. The system is captured right now, and they’re not going to willingly give that up…ever…unless overwhelmingly forced to.

  13. Federal_Drummer7105 on

He’s willing to juke the filibuster because he’s always operated on short term principle. If he wind now, tomorrow is someone else’s problem not his.

So let’s make him lose and get fucked.

  14. Yeah that’s called bad policy and how Democracy is supposed to work. Represent the people and do things in their best interest or they will vote you out of office.

  15. I like how this current iteration of the GOP just says the quiet part out loud at all times. They’re not pissing on your face and telling you it’s raining. They’re pissing on your face and telling you they’re pissing on your face. The bombing of Venezuela? It’s not about regime change or spreading democracy. It’s about oil. The war in Iran? It’s because Israel told us to. The 2026 midterms? Democrats will win unless we cheat. It’s refreshing in its own weird way.

  16. copingcabana on

It’s worth noting that, had he not won the election in 2024, Donald Trump would likely be an inmate in a NY state prison.

He was facing sentencing after being convicted of 34 counts of criminal fraud, but because he had been elected president, the NY State judge had to discharge him rather than create a constitutional crisis.

But Trump was facing 136 years in prison (which would have been capped at 20 years total) for the 34 Class E felonies of which he was convicted in NY state. He knew this when he fought tooth and nail to get reelected–lying every chance he got.

Now, he’s undoubtedly facing war crimes indictments as well as civil and other penalties. And if he thinks anyone in the US is going to shield him from his Nuremburg, he’s is more delusional than even I think.

So this is existential for him, and he’s a sociopathic, malignant narcissist. So we’re in for a bumpy 3 years.

  17. Kinda wild how Republicans will spend so much time and effort trying to rig elections and creating absurd narratives instead of simply running on policies that people actually like.

  18. Commercial-Prompt-84 on

Republicans are going to “win” what they can’t do through shady fucked up “legal” means like taking away mail in voting, reducing polling locations, massive purging of voting rolls, etc, they’ll achieve by intimidation tactics like ice+dhs at or near polling locations causing unrest

  19. Imagine the folly of removing the Filibuster and losing the Midterms at the same time.

  20. trashpanda2night on

They have to cheat to win. There’s nothing more GOP than that, with the exception of covering for pedos.

  21. Andovars_Ghost on

So then, how did you win this last time? You’ve deported a ton of those people you claimed were illegally voting and supposedly the border is sealed so no new ones came in, AND you keep telling us you are the silent majority and America’s most beloved president. So which is it?

  22. Quick he better pardon himself for everything he’s done in the past decade or however long he’s known Epstein.

  23. We all know he means what the headline says, but nothing in the body of the article mentions disenfranchised voters.

  24. YoureProbablyAB0t on

The problem here is that he and his administration have committed so many crimes that there are many people who need to cheat in order to not see the consequences of their crimes.

He’s not admitting anything. He’s warning people that if they didn’t do the cheating then they’re going to face consequences.

This isn’t going to be smooth at all.

  25. And not a single secret service agent is ready to defend the constitution and the democracy.

  26. Everyone around him has taken an oath to defend the constitution. Be nice to see some of that in action.

  27. Rare-Forever2135 on

I think this guy’s so delusional, he’ll blame the Dems for making it difficult for him to do so.

  28. Tart-Pomgranate5743 on

And he keeps threatening not to sign any other legislation unless the repugnant SAVE Act passes in the most restrictive terms (and even if it passes, the current Senate version would still need to go *back* to the House… and neither are as draconian as what Trump wants).

I say let him do the pocket veto sh*t… he should be held personally to blame for any/all shutdowns that arise as consequences of his tantrum.

  29. “Because we’re going to lose” is not a valid reason to change the rules.

Apply this to any sports event. If one team is concerned about losing does this justify cheating to win? Does it justify changing the rules so the lesser team can win?

  30. The sad thing is that a large percentage of people still hear something like this and ask for more on a daily basis. The don’t tread on me crowd actually like being walked all over as long as it’s by a rich white guy.

  31. TheStoicSlab on

The only plan they had was to cheat. They are terrified that they might not be able to do that.
