He isn’t even being unreasonable. He’s willing to be deported, why the hell are they sending him to Liberia?

  2. Funny how they’re sprinting like Olympians when it’s just one guy with a family… yet somehow they move at glacial speed the moment the Epstein files come up.

  3. The US made an agreement with Liberia and “abandoning that agreement ‘could cast doubt on the diplomatic reliability of the United States.’”

Yeah..THIS is the one thing will cause that doubt…

As a Native American, if I renounced my citizenship, would I be confined to my reservation?

I wish him and his family would have claimed in Aslyum in Canada until he can combat what the USA is doing

  6. > Lyons also said the administration had already negotiated Abrego Garcia’s removal with the government of Liberia and that abandoning that agreement “could cast doubt on the diplomatic reliability of the United States.”

Well we wouldn’t want people thinking we’re unreliable, now would we?

  7. This just shows why these guys can not stay in power if any of us are ever going to feel safe. Imagine the entire government out to get you specifically for no fucking reason other than the president is butt hurt you are alive.

Just a reminder: Costa Rica offered to take this guy months ago, and his lawyers have said he won’t fight deportation there.

Hes only still here because the Trump Administration doesn’t like the offer because Costs Rica has basically said they intend to treat him like a human being.

TrumPedo has seemingly never gotten over the fact El Salvador used this guy to humiliate Trump. They took money to keep this guy in a supermax prison, then didn’t while also making him available to TrumPedos political enemies…while keeping the money the TrumPedo paid them.

But since TrumPedo doesn’t have the guts to go after El Salvador, hes been taking it out on this guy ever since

“could cast doubt on the diplomatic reliability of the United States”

The Trump admin has already destroyed our diplomatic reliability. Fuck 47 and his worthless minions.

Trump’s still talking about Abrego Garcia, we’re still talking about Epstein.

  11. Will he be put in Liberian prison and serve a sentence?  If so, what sentence and how long?  What justification does Liberia have for incarcerating him?

  12. So they deport him to the country where they used to send all the freed American slaves.

    >”Neither the statute nor the regulations permit an alien to designate a country of removal beyond the initial opportunity granted in removal proceedings. If, as here, an alien were permitted to designate a country of removal years after the conclusion of removal proceedings, an alien could avoid ever being removed by endlessly designating new countries of removal,” Lyons wrote.

Never the case if it’s at the administrations discretion, if it requires cause, or if is merely required to be reasonable.

    >Lyons also said the administration had already negotiated Abrego Garcia’s removal with the government of Liberia and that abandoning that agreement “could cast doubt on the diplomatic reliability of the United States.”

Not meaningfully a factor. Why would it be on him to keep them from looking stupid

I recently read East West Street: On the Origin of Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity by Philippe Sands.

In the years leading up to the holocaust the Nazis and Nazi-sympathetic states did alot of fuckery with people’s citizenship and identification records, often rendering people stateless.

You can’t convince me that’s not directly inspiring this bullshit.

They talk about waste in government then spend millions shipping this one guy all over the world after a judge said no. So stupid.
