  1. President Donald Trump’s behemoth spending bill is forcing Republican lawmakers to consider dramatic budget cuts in many states.

Yeah, because the beautiful part was always the cruelty. Its hitting their own voters hardest and theyre still cheering for it.

  3. That’s what happens when you put your faith in a conman. These airheads believed this monstrosity of a bill would only “own the libs”. They deserve everything that’s happening to them. They think calling it “The Family Tax Cut” changes the reality of the damage it’s causing.

Noice. Stupid voters getting what they voted for. I love that for them. Also, go fuck yourselves you idiots.

& then the trials — oh, those gratifying trials

Wow he fucked over the working class families that elected him? If only we had a previous 4 years of this so would know this was in the plans from the start. Oh wait.

The shift and shaft is how we can afford fancy tax cuts for the rich: cut funds for food, education, and health at the federal level and shift the responsibility over to state budgets.

  8. Where is the I-voted-for-this crowd? I bet reports like this are suppressed in their conservative chamber.

  9. As was predicted! It’s not like Dems were warning their republican colleagues that this would happen! Wait till rural hospitals start closing because of the mess they made with healthcare

I don’t understand. This is exactly what demoncrats said would happen. But FOX News said they are lying liars who just want to protect brown illegal rapists and give them free houses and cat liter for their trans children.

Truly these democrats are so evil they managed to ruin the country even with the Big Beautiful Bill protecting us.

As I write this I realize this doesn’t even sound like satire. So /s I guess

Who could have predicted such a thing?

Oh that’s right. Everyone with an above room temp IQ.

  12. I have a brother who voted MAGA. Nice job writing code for the federal government on some project. Lost his job last January due to DOGE cuts. Was so embarrassed he did not tell the rest of his liberal family. I hate that it is happening since he just bought a house and moved cross country with his larger family. But at the end of the day he is getting the exact policies and results the rest of us tried to warn him against. So far no signs of self reflection or course correction. Just no longer as vocal about the “moochers” on government assistance for some reason. But like so many others I am sure he will find that voice again if he ever gets off of assistance and find a way to justify how he was not a greedy parasite somehow.

  13. The cruelty was baked into the bill.

A biracial woman with a weird laugh warned them that Project 2025 was the blueprint to make this happen. And the red hats made thinking and listening impossible, so they followed the pied grifter of Mar a Lago right off the ledge.

Of course, he stepped aside to cheerlead and keep them falling.

The unfortunate thing is that they took their children and innocent neighbors with them into certain pain and suffering.

I wish this were “The End.” But this story continues…

    >“We’re stealing from Peter to pay Paul,” Idaho State Representative Jordan Redman said. “It’s put us in a predicament where now we’re trying to figure out, ‘Ok, what programs do we keep? What programs do we cut?’”

So their plan is working perfectly.

Can’t wait until the people in these states who are most affected continue to vote for Republicans that just blatantly lie.

  15. Why the regular people thought those tax cuts were meant for them is beyond me. A 5 percent reduction in taxes at 40k is negligible. At 400k its significant and and a 4000k its a big beautiful tax cut.

As a blue dot living in Missouri, I will never understand how most of my neighbors voted for a slick New York guy who inherited his money.
