First woman to graduate from the Citadel’s Corps of Cadets program and use to be a supporter of Ron Paul [back in the day] during his presidential run. She knows, this war is not a winning hand for her political advancement.

  2. All bluster for the spotlight, no action. That phrase is a baseline that anyone could utter. Staying in the same party with a top leader, not exerting any power while in a position of power, is still going along with it to get along with him.

Dying for the price of oil is one level of awful, but it’s an entirely other thing to die to prevent a pedophile from being in headlines of his pedophiling

  4. Basic_Yam_715 on

oil sure, but mostly to distract from the Epstein files that show the potus is a pedophile and maybe worse…

This stance will last until she is firmly planted in her new role in our dysfunctional government. Then it’s back to same Ole same Ole with her.

Everyone shoudl refer to her as…Professional Stephen Tyler cosplay artist Nancy Mace.

She is a scumbag, but one that is self aware enough to know she has to plan for a future without the orange rapist in chief.

  7. Hegseth doesn’t want women in war cause according to him it’s bad for the warrior ethos…but not for oil but the pedos “legacy”

  8. Reasonable___Doubt on

This crazy woman wanted a cheap headline before she votes for it later on.

  9. Mace is not even a MAGA person, she’s a bog-standard neocon. If Trump has lost even the neocons then the situation on the ground must be way worse than they’re letting on.

This woman says the right thing every now and then, but flips and becomes malicious on a dime. My vote for most likely to be bipolar.

I would have thought the longer our folks in uniform spend there, the higher the price is gonna go… we’re not sending them to die to keep the price down, but to keep it up

  12. TheBlackUnicorn on

Kinda seems like we’re sending our sons and daughters to die to *increase* the price of oil.

Gonna need a lot more of this kind of thing for a long time to trust any these rats abandoning ship. Long live your attention spans, voters.

This clown show time line keeps producing moments where absolutely atrocious people mid up saying useful and accurate things – practically despite themselves.

  15. Trying to straddle that divide so she can run for President and claim in 2 or 6 years that she is “good MAGA”. America first, but independent enough to not defend Trump’s most indefensible acts and words.

    It’s bullshit, but that’s what she’s doing.

  16. Good. This used to be normal – having evolving alliances between parties without the staunch partisanship over every single issue. More GOP should join the “no war” side considering their entire pitch during the election was ‘America first’.

  17. This might actually be a russian proxy war, Trump gets paid off for sending in the US army to get wiped out. All the US bases in the Middle east are already wiped with russian intel.

  18. Damn Nancy, Mr. T would be jealous of that chain. Life as a crazy person in politics must pay really well.

  19. Dems should stay far away from this piece of trash. I don’t care what she is saying at this point. She is a psycho and should be treated as such.

  20. The only reason she is doing this is because she running for governor of SC. She doesn’t give a shit about the people of the state, she is just working on talking points for her campaign. Vile humans, both Graham and Mace.

  21. Its not the “democrats side”, its just the sensible side.

This war happened because of Trumps ego and because Trump *openly admits* that other countries have hold of him and his interests. Iran isnt defacto completely innocent, but this war was entirely avoidable, even if trump just did nothing whatsoever.

He chose to start this, and thought it would be like the Venezuela campaign; over and done with by day three. He thought it would be like his multiple failed casinos, that you could do whatever, declare bankruptcy, then walk away and everything resets with no long term problems. And he thought that like every other ‘obstacle’ in his life, if you throw enough of a tantrum and enough threats that youll just get your way.

I know the gop is basically Trumps bitch but you would think that after decades of pissing anf moaning about war weariness, the price of oil and gas, and blaming the middle eastern wars on Obama and Biden, that *some GOP* would openly leave the party because of Trumps war.

    You’d be wrong

    > to die for the price of oil

Don’t be silly. They’re being sent to die for Israel.

  23. “President Trump has done a phenomenal job,” she said. “So far, he’s been excellent, but I am deeply concerned about the Washington war machine, getting their talons into the White House and getting us into a protracted and elongated and endless war with Iran.”

Make of that what you will.

  24. lol, it’s not even for the price of oil.

it’s to help Bibi out in his imperialist ambitions

  25. And the crazy thing is that this war isn’t doing anything but significantly increasing the cost of oil.

  26. newmoonchaperone on

to be frank with you, if any of these MAGA populists in the House are for fucking real, intellectually speaking, this is a “short walk”.

  27. We’ll see. A tendency of republicans is to say one thing and do the opposite. Lying seems to come naturally to most of them.

  28. californicating on

She’s doing something good and there’s tons of people in this thread still lambasting her for it.
