America definitely botched the initial strikes and logistics of this war, but it isn’t over. They have a lot more fucking up to do.

  2. frieddumplings on

That clearly shows when he demands ally nations to help him in the war. Or tweeting out to Iran to make a deal every other day. Ironical that the one “winning” is almost pleading with the “loser” to make a deal.

Peace through Defeat. By losing as quickly as possible, Trump is actually taking war as an option off the table. You just wouldn’t get it, snowflake cucks. Read The Art of the Deal. /s

  4. Novel_Quote8017 on

Yeah no, given the current state of Iran, I wouldn’t say that the country came out of this a winner.

  5. Brain_Dead_Goats on

Everyone has lost as it stands right now. Iran lost a lot of its senior leadership, potentially has even worse fanatics in charge and has taken an absolute pounding militarily. The US didn’t achieve its war goals as of yet and probably won’t. Oil’s more expensive, the climate is going to be fucked even more, and this isn’t even over. Articles like this are moronic.

People are mentioning the Epstein files less, which sadly is a win for Trump. Luckily we can change that by still mentioning it as often as possible. Never forget the Oval Orange is the largest pedo in the world!

    What exactly did Iran win?

Trump and the US are idiots, to be sure, but it’s not like Iran’s going to be a gleaming economic powerhouse with thriving tourism like Singapore or anything anytime soon.

  8. People are grossly overrestimating the threat of Iranian drones. We’ve had years of the war in Ukraine to determine the need for countermeasures and to develop technologies and systems to [VIDEO OF F15 ALMOST STALLING OUT FAILING TO STOP A DRONE] Oh God…. OH NO. NO! NO!

  9. Everyday America acts surprised when they find out Trump is incompetent.

What is that about? There are decades of examples to look at.

  10. I don’t wish anyone the “victories” Iran has experienced. Trump shat the bed and America lost the day they elected him … but that is no victory for Iran, they’re up shit creek without a paddle.

  11. LessThanHero42 on

You could replace Iran in that headline with any nation on the planet and it would still be true for the entirety of Trump’s second term

  12. Nobody wins this. Expanding the disarmament treaty was the only way to win. Neither the gulf states nor Israel were in favor of that but the rest of the world was. What has happened has always been the understanding between Iran and world. It’s why they rely on proxies while the US relies on economic sanctions and sabotage historically.

Iran was absolutely under pressure going into this. The US had a ton of bargaining power.  Now Iran has much less to lose and lost a lot of centralized command, while the revolutionary gaurd is still operating as an institution. This makes negotiations much harder. It’s becoming a war for survival which means they are far more motivated to keep fighting. Strategic bombing does not produce regime changes. It pisses off regular people.

Whatever regime takes shape, it will likely have more popular support and be relieved of many pressures from the populace the last one was under. Even moving the capital will be more palatable if they choose to do that. The existential threat of the US seems to be keeping inter-faction fighting to a minimum.

He said “Sir, sir, thank you so much for all the wins. My portfolio is much smaller. Inflation is up, gas is up bigly. .”

  14. I would hate to have Iran pissed off at me, there’s no telling what they’ll do.

  15. The biggest way we lost is that now everyone knows for sure that Iran has the means to close the strait of Hormuz, which means that they have the means to attack our economy. This is true even when we are in the midst of attacking them with the full might of our air power.

This means that Iran has this as leverage going forward for every single issue, be it sanctions, nuclear weapons, and so on.

In other words, Trump has now made the US economy hostage to the IRGC.

  16. oh well look at the time, its time to:

    1)investigate the Epstein Coverup

    2)prosecute all illegal activities found

    3) drain the swampy diaper of maga from WH

4)SEND clean underpants to Pedo Trump

    5)??????

    6)make america great again

  17. Fine_Perspective7401 on

Let’s ditch the pedophile and oil all together. No need for either.

  18. The worst thing about this is Iran now knows they do not need nukes and they are going to make an insane amount of money on controlling the straight of Hormouz

  19. The 2015 Iran nuclear deal was negotiated from a position of strength. I’m worried the next nuclear deal will be negotiated from a position of weakness.

  20. aboysmokingintherain on

I wouldn’t say Iran won. They survived which is as good as it gets but literally lost their leader and military command with their current leader severely injured. They lost basically everything and had to imploy an economic nuclear bomb to do so.

The US did 100% lose though.

  21. The war in Iran was always going to be a losing one, for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with our military’s capacity for destruction and everything to do with a lack of clear objectives.

It’s the same reason we lost in Vietnam or why Iraq turned into such a political quagmire, except if anything, even those two wars seemingly had clearer objectives than our current war with Iran.

You can’t win a war if you don’t even know what it is you’re trying to win by fighting it.

Their Supreme leader got blown to bits. I could accept an argument of “America and Iran both lost” but in no world is Iran a victor in this.

  24. keeper_of_the_donkey on

Actually I don’t think there’s a single motherfucker on this planet that won except Putin.

  25. Ancient_Ship2980 on

We cannot say the U.S. and Israel have lost the war with Iran. However, Iran would appear to have the strategic advantage, despite having suffered horrible losses. U.S. and Israeli air strikes have killed untold numbers of government, IRGC and IRGC-QF, Army and Basij officials and personnel. The U.S. and Israel also have eliminated untold numbers of ballistic missiles, Iranian bases and fortifications, most of the Iranian Navy and Air Force. Nonetheless, the Trump Administration and its Israeli allies have not come close to obliterating Iran’s uranium enrichment program, its ballistic missile capabilities or overthrown the Iranian regime. Embarrassingly for the Trump Administration and Israel, the Iranian regime is now even more hard-line. Iran, with Russian military aid and intelligence, is attacking neighboring countries and U.S. military targets, to include U.S. military personnel. Worst of all, Iran effectively controls the Strait of Hormuz and is charging tolls.

Fake news! America won 2 weeks ago and is poised to win in 2 weeks! After that: Infrastructure week!

  27. chuppapimunenyo on

The only real winners are the people who profit from war at the end of the day. America lost is relative. Everyone lost, except certain people who managed to make money from this mess.

The people of Iran most certainly are not “winning”. Even if they were supposedly liberated from their religious overlords who run a country based on religion, tons of their infrastructure wil be in shambles and corruption will be VERY BAD, when reconstruction begins.
