I asked one of my students, a 30 year old conservative from a family of conservatives, if she would vote for a POC in the upcoming governor election, and she flat out said “no way,” adding that her family definitely wouldn’t.
It’s a weird feeling, knowing that in this case conservatives’ inherent racism will actually do Ohio some good.
