  1. I dont think its a good idea to let Iran collect tolls in the strait of hormuz or have exerted control over it because it could be shut down again quite easily even if we arent in conflict and tolls will make the cost of oil go way up

But the only fucking reason this convo is happening at all is because they decided to bomb the shit out of Iran for no reason besides Israel told them too so they got no one to blame but themselves for this mess

  2. One hilarious highlight is that Jared Kushner thought everyone would be happy to see him there lol. The video of him being pushed away from a hug was epic

  3. In a country renowned for its overseas fuck-ups, this one by the US must rank high.

The object of the war is to open the Hormuz Strait, a waterway open before the war

  5. You mean our crack pot negotiating team of Dumb, Dumber and Dumber’er couldn’t get this done? I’m shocked.

  6. I just don’t understand how the gulf states will be willing to let Iran get away with this in the long term, I imagine this could cause enough friction in the region to ignite all out war between gulf states members

The NY Post is basically Fox News. The wording of this headline is intended to justify further mass murder of Iranians until Trump and Co are paid by Iran to stop killing innocent people.

  8. Negotiations are futile. Thanks to Trump, the world now knows Iran controls the straight. The best Vance can do is negotiate the US/Israeli surrender.

Netanyahu is a mad man, and Trump is a moron. We can’t do much about Israel’s leadership but we can cut off foreign aid to them and put it to restocking our military. Kushner might object, but eff him. He brokered this mess.

Trump belongs in an orange jumpsuit for initiating this war crime. Hegseth too, and the top brass he installed that went along with it. What a cluster fuck.

Jokes on you, they were never going to go through. This was nothing more than an agreed “break” so Trump could not follow through on his threats of Genocide and Iran has a second to breath while trying to rebuild as many of their cheap ass (yet effective) drones as possible.

I think people are misunderstanding, iran is literally profiting off the war. They are making more money from their oil than they were before.

  11. The US didn’t exactly send serious people to do this.

    The Iranians almost certainly did.

There won’t be another chance until the US regime is changed.

Real estate guys love walking away from the table. Classic negotiating strategy. Does walking away right now favor US or Iran?

  13. They’d be stupid to agree to a deal, they had one and by all accounts were following it. We broke it, did not renegotiate, bombed them, then out allies bombed them again, then we joined in bombing them, including civilians.

We agree to a ceasefire, while threatening to end their civilization, then break it within 12 hours claiming the deal we agreed to wasn’t good enough and didn’t say what it said.

I wouldn’t trust this administration either.

  14. I love how Trump is now saying the U.S. will close the Strait instead of Iran. Lmao.

The US has completely lost the plot.

We could end this war immediately but it’s clear the Trump regime is asking for some ridiculous concession they can tout as a win. But now that they’ve shown their hand, Iran is calling their bluff and telling them to pound sand. Trump and his goons went to the negotiation thinking they were coming from a place of power when the opposite is true.

Trump just casually lying again that the sticking point was that Iran wouldn’t back down from wanting to develop nuclear weapons….

  17. Stupid question, but is it now safe to transit through middle east or could a war break out again?
