Vance proudly proclaimed during the election that he would lie to help with any story he wanted to tell. Easily proven facts will likely never stop him from lying. Why do I think he’s lying? Words are coming out of his mouth.

this just feels like the usual political spin tbh. defending something by downplaying it or calling it a “joke” doesn’t really address the actual concern people have
even his own defense kinda sounds all over the place, like trying to justify it after the fact instead of just being clear from the start

Guy who said during the campaign he is willing to lie to give attention to matters he cares about. He cares about keeping Trump as potus for another year and that’s it. Then he gets to be president.
He doesn’t give a single fuck about prosecuting child sexual predators. Unless he can use that information to his benefit via exploitation.
