Trump has gone full on megalomaniac. Demolishing the east wing of the White House in order to build a bunker under a gaudy ballroom. Putting his name on the Kennedy Centre. This monstrosity of a triumphial arch. At this point I wouldn’t put it past Trump to replace the statue of Abraham Lincoln from the Lincoln monument with a statue of himself. I hope the veterans win their case and put some limits on Trump’s self-agrandizement.

But we need the Triumphal arch and it needs to be bigger than all the other arches in the world to celebrate, specifically, our triumphalness and our 250th anniversary when it is maybe finished in five years after our 250th anniversary! It will cost some unknown amount of money, but someone anonymous is giving Trump 500 billion Yuan and all the Chinese marble and limestone needed for construction.
