ask a migrant in one of the new detainment centers to get a real understanding of what cruel is all about

If only more people would understand the truth of this.

If what we’re seeing isn’t evil, then what is evil?

The absurdities that we read about every day on the front pages mask the more insidious evils happening in the background. The pervasive disinformation campaigns propagated by trump’s media-owning allies. The capture of the judiciary and congress, nullifying the precept of “checks and balances.” The diminishing significance of the constitution.

Next admin after that shitbag will have to use up all their tenure in office prosecuting all the illegal corrupt activities the current scumbag admin has ever committed, and will commit until the end of 2028.

Not all evil is as stupid as this.

it genuinely feels like we’ve been stuck in the exact same exhausting news cycle for almost a decade tbh. the absurdity just became the baseline and everyone is just tired.

One thing this whole Trump era has taught me is how connected evil is to stupidity.
Like the evil idiot to evil mastermind ratio is absurdly skewed toward the stupid.

It’s true, all those clichés about the devil with horns breathing fire are a bit outdated. These days, the devil wears a suit. He supports pedophiles. He intimidates democratic countries. He sponsors bloodthirsty maniacs. He’s simply a man without a conscience or moral boundaries. In that sense, I like the movie “Die Wannseekonferenz / The Conference,” where respectable people in suits (who have families and children) gather to discuss how best and most efficiently to gas civilians and how to dispose of the corpses in the most economically advantageous way…

Correction: This is what stupid evil looks like. Intelligent evil looks more like Putin.

Based on the feels, vendettas, greed and fleeting ego injury of a narcissistic petulant capricious dementia addled malevolently ignorant criminal brain.
I just don’t understand where it all went wrong, America. He was *such* a good choice.

In Paris recently I saw a plaque in front of a school, remembering pupils who were dragged off to a camp and “Nazi barbarism.” I wonder what it will take and how many years will go by until our society can agree that all of this is barbarism too.
