For anyone keeping track at home, the defense federal acquisition regulation supplement (dfars) is supposed to prevent exactly this kind of blatant conflict of interest. normally, a 24-million-dollar pentagon contract involves a mountain of oversight and competitive bidding. bragging about it on social media is basically handing a gift-wrapped “Exhibit A” to any ethics committee with a pulse—assuming anyone in dc still has one.
America has been laughing about other democracies and the corruption therein. Now the world is laughing at America.
