I think most of them were staged, tbh. Especially the most recent one.
Too many coincidences what with Trump saying he was going to cause a commotion at the dinner earlier in the week and then Leavitt saying “shots will be fired” at the dinner a couple hours ago.
These monsters are the most corrupt of the corrupt human beings we have ever known so far, if they can abuse kids they can definitely stage false flag attacks to further their own garbage agendas.

I feel like throughout history it’s either really good leaders or really bad leaders that have attenpts on their life. Very few neutral ‘meh’ leaders have this unless it’s a direct coup where the leader in question doesn’t matter.
I wonder which kind of leader he thinks he is?

Has it been made clear that trump was the attacker’s target?
Could it not have alternately been any one of dozens of trump’s ~~critiques~~ critics, all gathered together? In one room?
With knots of them standing close together for group photos?

Cue the histrionics.
Trump supporters are already politicizing this to hell and blaming some nebulous enemy for inciting a “radical left-wing” gunman to violence while entirely dismissive of any nuance and unaware of how hostile THEY sound towards this common strawman.
The same strawman/bogeyman they’ve relied on so often in the past to push an “us vs them” narrative.
This is before any facts about the perps motive have been confirmed no less.
But regardless of the facts, this sort of binary worldview where “them” are the savages and “us” are the victims, or where “them” are all violent anarchists, radicals and “traitors,” and “us” are all morally righteous, superior and law abiding “patriots”—this worldview has far more dangerous implications than say….when figures in the media call Trump an authoritarian.
The same media, mind you, that Trump and many of his followers refer to as “the enemy of the people.”
And the same media that is held to a much higher standard than popular, right-wing users on platforms like “X” where they engage in toxic behavior.
Pro-Trump mouthpieces who have their culture war grievances, their harmful speech, and their poisonous and partisan discourse amplified by the echochamber’s algorithms.
There rarely seems to be room for any nuanced discussion, and this type of black or white, either/or, all-or-nothing thinking is both tremendously ignorant and a source of radicalization.
These kinds of people have no desire to “turn down the temperature.” For them, these incidents become a convenient excuse to dial up the hostility, to inflame political and even racial tensions.
It’s more important that they get out in front of the facts to control the narrative so they can scapegoat their political enemies and instinctively blame them for the actions of a single, deranged individual—regardless of their motivations and/or associations.
These same people have continuously downplayed or ignored countless other incidents in the past involving culprits that have been radicalized by far right conspiracy theories, propaganda, and online extremist networks.
And there’s no debate to be had when it comes to not just the rising number of violent incidents in recent years, but the growing prevalence of hate/domestic extremist groups since Trump entered office.
This far right movement has become more and more radicalized under Trump, and we must call out their hypocrisy when they call the kettle black and seem unwilling to recognize the hate, the vitriol, the maximalist language, and the fearmongering rhetoric they spew and spread on a daily basis.
To make matters worse, this behavior is encouraged by an unhinged president who is the most divisive and incendiary public figure in recent memory.
The same man who seems to feed on toxicity.
Who broadly characterizes the other party as “domestic terrorists,” “agitators,” “thugs,” “criminals,” etc…
Who is intentionally cruel towards others, even the deceased.
Who uses dehumanizing language regularly, insults and mocks others, belittles and bullies his political opponents and naysayers.
The same president who campaigned on “no new wars,” yet just threatened to commit egregious crimes against another population and destroy their civilization because the war that HE started hasn’t been going his way.
And of course, no matter the facts or outcome, this incident will be politicized by Trump and his supporters to no end and used to sell a narrative that portrays this man as a VICTIM, that applauds Trump’s resilience in the face of so much hatred, hostility and “political persecution.” Maybe he’ll even be likened to Jesus Christ again.

How bad does it have to be if someone tried to shoot your president and everybody immediately goes “fake”!?
Also, how bad does it have to be for a well educated and popular black teacher to pick up a gun and go to the Correspondents dinner of all places to try and shoot the President? How does that even make sense? Chance of succes: zero. And by the way – how did nobody get shot except for one cop straight in the bullet proof vest?
