Will the Labour Party is slowly turning into a better version of the Liberal Party hopefully we can become a better version of labour and one nation can become the Democrats

Labor actually learns lessons when they lose elections, identify which policies they failed to sell and changes them. The Libs and Greens OTOH just go “obviously we are correct and everyone agrees with us, they just don’t know it, so all we need to do is improve our messaging”.
It’s weird he uses mamdani as an example because he is a democrat? Albeit he is from the progressive faction like Bernie sanders. If emulating the success of mamdani is what he strives for then he should join the labor party and lead the left wing faction and try and gain a position which has the power to enact change (eg premier) from that vantage point
