The irony is that the type of people who have $100 million to drop on a visa are the exact same people who are experts at avoiding taxes. Why would they pay a massive upfront fee to a government when they can just hire a legal team to park their money in the Caymans? The math was never mathing.

Why would you restrict yourself to live in the US for minimum of 6 months until you become a citizen and have to pay taxes in the US and your own country
