  1. The Antichrist’s minions in the government are projecting again. I cannot think of *anyone* who is *less* Christian than Donald Trump.

Huh?!  Some of the most religious people I know are gay and trans.

  3. Christians will surely push back on this characterization of their faith, right? Right…?

Ohhh ffs Handmaid’s Tale. Project 2025 is also very much moving towards making it near impossible to get a divorce (locking women into marriage after kids). Don’t feel relieved being straight and cis….they’re coming for everyone

Why do conservatives hate everything but the second amendment?

First 10 words of the 1st Amendment:

    > **Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion**, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

    Fucking idiots.

Illinois is safe for queer people. I wish states would create funds to help people move from other, unsafe states. We also have legal weed 😉

  7. Once they have stripped all rights away from the LGBT+ community, who will be their next boogeyman?

Fuck this fucking evil Orange bastard. He needs to be in a straight jacket rotting in a prison until he burns in hell.

Scott Bessent, who was sworn in as the 79th U.S. Secretary of the Treasury on January 28, 2025, is the first openly gay person to hold this position. He is a former hedge fund executive who managed his own firm, Key Square Capital Management. Bessent is married to John Freeman, and they have two children.

Pope Francis (2013–2025) significantly shifted the Catholic Church’s tone towards LGBTQ+ individuals, emphasizing inclusion, welcoming LGBTQ Catholics, and supporting civil unions. While affirming that marriage is only between a man and a woman and homosexual acts are “disordered,” he has championed decriminalization, approved pastoral blessings for same-sex couples, and supported parents of LGBTQ children.

This fucking idiot, along with 99% of maga, simply sees rights given to anyone other than themselves as an attack on them.

Rights aren’t a zero sum game morons. Not that we can expect ANY level of critical thought from those fucking knuckle draggers.

Looks like the State is no longer separated from the Church!

Fuck. Off. I am so fucking SICK of this fucking sub-human trash! Seriously, this isn’t human.

It’s going to be awkward when all the “don’t tread on me” magat trumpers get arrested on grindr stings.

Well, if that’s what Jesus said….ok. Thanks for clearing that up.

Weird I’m a gay pastor in the same denomination that Trump himself claims. The PCUSA has been ordaining LGBTQ folks for awhile now, same in Canada.

Also how many theology degrees does this DOJ goon possess? He a deacon, or even member of a church. For a group who can’t seem reflect the Jesus we see in the Bible (loving neighbour, exulting the poor) sure do have a lot of options about the pews they’ve never sat in.

If you’re a gay republican you are among the dumbest people alive

  18. Raspberry_Good on

Keep it up Christian Nationalists. While I am Christian and do try to act Christ-like, I don’t recognize YOU. And the more you talk like this, the more ‘up in arms’ I’ll fight you. Die on this hill, we will. DID Jesus hang out with the marginized or not? He did.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

While the DOJ is not technically Congress, the DOJ has no authority other than to enforce the laws as written by Congress and since Congress can’t write laws respecting any establishment of religion, the DOJ is acting unconstitutionally and is illegitimate.

Moving the goalposts every day. Eroding and reversing rights. Everyone’s being attacked simultaneously.

I say your Christian protections are anti-me but nobody fucking listens to that. Assholes.

  22. There were a number of folks who claimed anti segregation policies were anti christian views and that if they were forced to serve, shop, drink from the same water fountains, and go to school woth black folks that their religious views were being infringed upon.

The courts weighed the public good verses unfettered religious freedom and said public good won out.

  23. Throwaway98455645 on

Now, I haven’t been to church in probably over a decade at this point, but I seem to recall a little thing about ‘Love thy neighbor as yourself’. And I don’t remember it having any caveats either…

  24. A_Nick_Name on

Afaik, christians are still free to be straight, cis and procreate. No idea what he’s talking about

  25. Opening_Head_532 on

And by anti-Christian they mean not forcing everyone to follow their specific interpretation of the Bible.

  26. When religion and politics travel in the same cart, the riders believe nothing can stand in their
way. Their movements become headlong – faster and faster and faster. They put aside all
thoughts of obstacles and forget the precipice does not show itself to the man in a blind rush
    until it’s too late.

Oh, does that mean other Religions can’t get their own two cents heard about this?

    Only Christians get to decide?
